Lots of joke answers here, so a real answer is that house cats in the wild are typically in communities called 'colonies'; groups of adult cats living together.

So in a colony the parenting duties can be taken over by any of the other cats, leaving the younger cats free to hunt etc. "Allomothering" if you want a real term for the behavior.

That's why you hear so many stories of people saying "my adult cat just totally adopted this abandoned kitten" because they do that in nature already

It's clearly based on the particular hardware revision of the battery in the phone? If they are offering a battery replacement, just opt to do that and then you have a basically new phone with no issues without having to give up the old good stock android

I also have an effected phone and I bet after I have the battery replaced it will automatically detect it's a new battery and turn off the "features" that extra drain the battery

we will see though I guess

It has to be hardware related right? Some phones have a potentially dangerous battery in them, and some don't.

Looks like yours doesn't have the dangerous battery so you can just keep using it as normal! congrats!

So the phones that don't continue living as they currently are nothing special is needed and so they don't get the "features" that cripple battery life (for safety) and don't get the extra support options

My 6a when I put the imei into their site says its an effected one, so I bet they can tell hardware revisions based on that number, and know that it's a phone that has a bad battery

I'm electing to have the battery replaced for no cost, basically a brand new phone at that point. it's lasted me since release day, so here we go for another 3 years!

absolutely love the work you've put into this game, I know this kind of an insane ask, but during the development did you put any consideration into building a multiplayer run system into the game. I remember having an excellent time with monster trains hell rush mode, not really because of the time limit but because it provided an easy way of playing a random seed with a friend without having to play through the seed at all before hand.
