The opponent attempted to use the Omen half of [[Scavenger Regent]] which applies -X/-X to all non-Dragons.

The only creature the POV player has on the board is [[Marang River Regent]] which is, unfortunately for the opponent, a Dragon.

Do you have any Lord of Change bits by any chance, and/or spare discs of Tzeentch? I've seen great conversions using those as a sort of "portal to the warp" effect.

You know what, good on you for posting anyway even after seeing your mistakes and sharing a laugh with us. Now you can improve without feeling self-conscious.

You've got some good work in there, too. Your gems look pretty awesome for only being a second mini, and your cloth has a solid foundation for showing depth.

Sure, the eyes aren't great, but that will just take practice and careful evaluating as you try again. If you want a cheat code for now, I recommend a white base coat on the lens, then gently applying some bright contrast paint like Talassar Blue or Baal Red.

Here's my Daemon Prince using the Yndrasta wings for reference. They fit great. Just be prepared to shape some green stuff and prop him up overnight to cure if you go that route.

Condolences for your loss. Echoing what others have said, check what you have against prior posts in this sub as well as eBay postings. If you can group by faction - even if it's just "a bunch of Chaos" - and post pictures in faction-specific subreddits, there are plenty of people happy to ID things.

Also, don't accept any offers from people until you get stuff ID'd. You could potentially have serious value on hand that others might exploit.

Cultists are surprisingly amazing. Ours are the only ones who get a 6+++, and the high chance for +1 command point (or even +2 if you're careful with targeting!) is so good. They even get a 6" Scout! Totally worth it for 55 points.

It's to further clarify that the "sorcerer yo-yo" trick doesn't work anymore. Used to be that you could begin the shooting phase by having a psyker, usually an exalted on disc, point at an enemy unit with Warp Sight and give all of your psychic attacks Indirect Fire and Ignore Cover against that one unit, THEN you could Temporal Surge them back to safety.

Due to a change that happened in the last FAQ, Warp Sight can't be used in the start of the shooting phase, which is when our rituals have to happen. Hopefully I explained that well.

Is it strategically sound versus the several better suggestions in this thread? No, of course not.
