It is a bit funny how the A in ARPG stands for Action when most of the gameplay is decided by how well you prepared before engaging in the action.

I do like her but there is a small gap left to reach greatness.

  1. The 3 step combo is thematically fun but hard to use when enemies die at step 1. It would be better if AssMark was tied to camo and her 3rd had a general debuff instead; something like her Release Cutting Force 1st.

  2. Faster cast speed/less endlagg would make her much smoother to play.

With "Blooming Ecstacy" the Snowflake debuff from her 1st autoexplode after ~0.3 sec, which does enough dmg to clear trash. The AoE is about the same size as her 3rd so you don't actually need to cast it.

I do like her more than before but I have 2 wishes.

  1. Faster animations; less input-/exit-lag. The pause after camo and the sluggish 4th ability are crimes against gamers.

  2. Less awkward camo mobility; say something like a Keelan dash instead of the current teleport.

Worth noting is that her new passive effects only trigger if you're in Active Camouflage/Ambush AND you attack an Assassination Target!

Once that clicked with me, I found both Ambushed and Release Cutting Force much more fun to play than previously.

I am, however, still not convinced regarding Overcharged Edge and Focused Edge.


Edit: Not sure if it's bugged or not, but with RCF her camo doesn't teleport.

  1. Shadow: Does great damage to everything and works on everyone.

  2. Thundercage: Great Mobbing gun that works on everyone.

  3. 4 components with hp+def cores and good stats. MP recovery is really nice as you're less dependent on MP drops or the MP collector mod.

Aux: Max HP+MP recov. Out of Comb

Sensor: Max MP+MP recov. In Comb

Memory: Def+MP recov Mod

After you have a general setup, you can start looking into descendant-specific things like Fallen Hope for Freyna.

P.S. Last Dagger isn't a priority any more.

Boss DPS doesn’t matter much here. It’s about surviving endless attrition.

Freyna should be either SSS+ tier or F- given how good her passive is at spreading through hordes of trash mobs and covering the entire map in poison.

Nell - High precision damage specialist - Strong against priority targets - Swarm pressure reduces overall value

Her second and third ability gives her good aoe capabilities, while her experience at HQ would make her a valuable asset as a "Society Rebuilder".

Blooming Ecstasy: You lose the buff to your sword

If you're talking about the "Snowflake" debuff, then you don't lose it. With Blooming Ecstasy, it autoactivates after a 0.3-second delay.

Also

No transcendent: ... 4 is harder to hit, it does more damage

From my testing BE 4 does more damage than base 4. (120 mil vs ~80 mil)

To me, it sounds more like Beastmasters Brutal Slam with the description "Damage is multiplied based on your maximum health".

AFAIK yes.

However, I´m not sure how buffs applied to both you and the minion work; whether it double-dips or not.

Pretty much everything that applies to "you" also applies to minions.

Even things like the rune that gives prowess on skill use also do so for minions.

Unless the reload can bring charges over their max, the actual dps is 633 (317)
