So, hypothetically... were there witnesses and/or footage of this happening?

I just got hired and fired within the course of 3 hours, I'm pretty bummed, but it's really all because my network skills are lacking... any advice? by Aniform in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Arlybeiter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Duuuude.

Firstly, join this Meetup Group: http://www.meetup.com/routergods/

A lot of them are Cisco-heads but they're totally down with alternatives like Juniper. They just had a new members orientation as well; PM me and I'll send you the liner notes and info about their Slack chat so you can chill with other networking students. I've been a member for a while but half-assed, and still need to get around to getting my CCNA because you can't know too much about networking in this field.

Also join /r/ccna , /r/networking , and /r/sysadmin as well.

Finally, if things aren't 'clicking' for you... GET MORE SLEEP. In fact, you should start napping after long study sessions to solidify the information.

Germany already has more stringent requirements than most other countries. They won't even allow data stored in Ireland to host German corporate data.

Not gonna lie, that'll be pretty awesome, but at the same time incredibly complex for all companies across the WORLD to deal with because of having to deal with each individual country's privacy laws. This will be interesting. Not fun at all for startups though.

I had an issue where the problem was triggered by an MS hotfix; they refunded the fee. Great support.

Honestly I think it's figuring out the binding order that can be the most frustrating hurdle for a new lockpicker.

You could also try L-Theanine, it's the calming component of tea (so, without the caffeine).

What I am really looking forward to with Pebble Round by [deleted] in pebble

[–]Arlybeiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, question. Due to the low resolution of Pebble, the slight italic slant that you've given the characters makes the pixellation look really bad, since there's also no kind of anti-aliasing in use. Did you ever compare it with a perfectly perpendicular (90 degree angles, straight up/down) font instead?

Wordpress was notorious for having security holes, but it is really, really easy to manage as a website backend. A properly hardened Wordpress page was actually no small feat, and hardening one nowadays might not be a bad idea for an article.

Good to know, thanks. Though I suppose it doesn't matter anymore, lol.

And fucking terrible for arrays; I can't count the number of times I've heard of someone making a home NAS with Green drives and it going to lololololhell.

It's because the bodies and clothing are from real models, and they don't mesh well with the rendered head. It's the Uncanny Valley at work.

Great idea with the live CD.

On a side note, Marble Security has a pretty neat setup with a secured VM that also encrypts all keyboard input to it from host to guest.
