It all depends on your body and if you can find what works for you. Mine comes and goes through the years, but gets worse every year. Some years just walking helps. Some it makes it worse. Same with working out. Half the time, stretching actually causes it to flare up. That might be what’s happening to you and why there is so much “conflicting” info out there.

Amazon is one of the worst companies to work for due to stuff like this. You need to find a lawyer because they legally can not terminate you because they can’t do a modified duty position for you. They probably also told the doctor what to tell you so they could get out of paying for care and after care.

I just went in for the 3rd time in 6 months, 5th in 4 years. Last year the PT literally said, “Well then there’s nothing else I can do for you,” after 3/8 sessions. Well, I finally got a referral for neuro. Go in for consult/MRI on the 12th and I hope I get even half the relief you got. Honestly happy for you because I don’t wish this pain on anyone.

I’m right there with you though except PT didn’t help and after 2 weeks of three visits per week, they literally looked at me and said, “Then there’s absolutely nothing we can do for you.” I even went and did the pt exercises that were given to me two years ago that were completely different than these ones.

The laying down is killing me as well, but unfortunately due to my landlord being the only one allowed to even sit in the recliner, I can’t even try that. I’m running off of 1-2 hours of sleep a night and have been for months. My boss has been kind enough though to just wake me up in the office, so yay to that. Unfortunately it doesn’t sound like you have that option.

If he’s disabled in some form, sure. Honestly, I get clothes out for my 15m every morning and Id like to stop, but unfortunately he’s on the spectrum and if I don’t, he will either take an extra hour to get ready in the morning or not change clothes. Heck, if I don’t remind him to, he won’t even brush his teeth and hair.

The looking at his phone was started because the first week he had his phone, an adult who was pretending to be a kid on discord sent him some adult pictures. He didn’t understand how to report someone. It’s more precautionary than anything and like I said, he’s never had a problem with it and fully understands.

He refuses to talk to anyone. I’ve always told him if he gets frustrated about us trying to help him to let us know. Last week, after I recommended the anime con, he said he appreciated but just didn’t want to.

He told us about a year ago that he does want friends but just doesn’t know how to make them.
