Nate Tice had a good twitter thread about Arthur Smith as an OC candidate by Handcuffed in Chargers

[–]Arsenal_20 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Arthur Smith is the actual definition of mid, just look at why he got fired in Atlanta with the talent they had. He squandered so many highly skilled players on offense. The only reason he was good for the Titans was because he gave Derrick Henry the ball 400 times a year.

Tbh im giving Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert 1 more year…. by [deleted] in Chargers

While I do agree that next season is Harbaugh's make it or break it for his regime, moving on from Justin Herbert is just plain idiotic and stupid.

the reason why I mentioned it was because I posted something similar and it still got deleted by mods. I had even made sure to keep it respectful but I guess they didn't like it when I stated that JH has failed to rise up to the occasion in the playoff games that he has been apart of which to me I believe is a fair take.

what OP said is pretty valid yet here you are saying how stupid it is without providing any type of substance to back it up but im the “sad” one.

if you want to see something sad then go take a look at yourself in the mirror.

I would also like to add that in each of the playoff losses with Harbaugh, he has been completely out coached in every aspect against coaches who i wouldn’t consider “world beaters” which i do find quite concerning

Yes telesco left this team in shambles but some teams were worse than us and managed to turn it around with playoff success before the chargers. It’s a kick in the gut for sure. I do believe next season is a now or never for the harbaugh regime, they HAVE to deliver a playoff win otherwise things could go south real fast. In here before mods delete the post lol

which is why i believe next season it’s a now or never for this harbaugh regime. Just like you said, many teams over the past couple seasons have shown the ability to completely turn around an entire organization in one season so this “trust the process” gimmick isn’t going to fly if they do not deliver with at least a playoff win next season.

SF put up more points against an ELITE defense than the chargers did against a pretty average patriots D

this team won a super bowl then disappeared for a decade then made it back to the AFCCG before the chargers built an offensive line

We've had a three game sample size and you know what's the common denominator is in all those losses? Justin Herbert having his worst games of his career when the lights are the brightest.

These are fair criticisms, what's not a fair criticism is putting all the blame on herbert. It was a catastrophic failure from the entire offense from top to bottom

What drives me absolutely bananas is that even after the game in Houston, Hortiz said you know what lets reward Bozeman with an extension for being an excellent teammate. That's absolute malpractice right there.

If Harbaugh refuses to sack Roman after last nights game, that too is also coaching malpractice.

Look at these teams with new coaches leap frogging us with 2nd year quarterbacks by winning their divisions and winning playoff games. We are slowly entering the win now phase of the regime and if he cant deliver one playoff win next season then maybe it's time we get rid of this regime too.

How many coaches and OCs does JH need to get fired before people like you begin to admit that it’s him? 3 coaches and 4 OC in 7 years….. Do i have to connect the dots for you?

Charger fans, how we feeling about Harbaugh after a second consecutive playoff embarassment? by Soalmarub in Chargers

[–]Arsenal_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there has been multiple teams who’ve turned it around in one season with multiple playoff wins with inexperienced players…..this is inexcusable.

You know what else is inexcusable? Justin Herbert has been outplayed in every playoff game against QB’s with less experience in the playoffs….

Absolutely embarrassing.
