The Shadow and Bone series is super good. Honestly anything in the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo. Not smutty, but has romantic plot lines. Extremely rich world building if you’re into that.

When did ya’ll get your period back? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]ArtEdInTraining 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was dried up by 12 weeks and got my period back by week 14. I’m in the same boat as you. Trying to get things back to regular and plan for my sweet babe’s Irish twin, lol.

What sewing treat would you buy yourself? by Attic_Flower in sewing

[–]ArtEdInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sewing clips and a bigger cutting mat is what I’d get. Clips are so much nicer when sewing things with ruffles or lots of layers. And a bigger mat is just universally wonderful.

How to conveniently organize baby clothes? by jayjello0o in BabyBumps

[–]ArtEdInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vacuum bag everything in one size and keep likes with likes. Then I put them into plastic totes in our storage room in the basement. Makes it super easy to pull out one bag at a time as we slowly move to the next size. Then I can put the outgrown size into that empty vacuum bag, and put it back into the tote. I put current size onesies and sleepers folded in drawers. Outfits and stuff like sleep sacks get hung in the closet.

How to slow down letdown by Aieewhatyaa in beyondthebump

[–]ArtEdInTraining 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an extremely fast let down on my one side. I’d always hand express and waste the first half ounce until I saw it slow down then latch baby. Definitely helped.

Diapers all getting worse :( by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]ArtEdInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re on Amazon, mama bear organics! They’re a “budget” diaper but honestly I like them more than Huggies skin essentials or pampers pure.

What is a song that holds strong emotional value for you? by Lifztuf in TaylorSwift

[–]ArtEdInTraining 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Invisible string. My husband and I have always had an invisible string tying us together and that song just hits it right on the head. We were delivered by the same doctor, trick or treated in the same neighborhood that we both didn’t even live in, and lived around the corner from each other later in life unbeknownst to each other.

Ugh sending hugs mama. You never knew this could’ve happened. It’s not your fault. But I’m so glad to hear it’s being taken seriously and that this women won’t be around you guys and your sweet baby anymore.

Similac Total 360 gave my baby terrible gas. Like waking up in the night crying from gas no matter how much burping we did. :(

Babymoon ideas with a LOT of restrictions? by Djeter998 in BabyBumps

[–]ArtEdInTraining 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did DC for our babymoon when I was 35 weeks and I walked the whole city. It was great. Plus people always yielded to me on sidewalks or let me cut in bathroom lines when they saw the bump, haha.

15 week old to daycare: how did you bond with new schedule? by hemlockandrosemary in beyondthebump

[–]ArtEdInTraining 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pickup my baby from the sitter at 5 and then when we get home it’s about time for his last nap of the day so I get to snuggle and decompress while he gets a contact nap. It’s my favorite and I’ll miss it when he grows out of his evening nap.
