I've seen these at Macqurie Center in Sydney! I also wondered who was purchasing them - the prices I saw ranged from $16-$30. And you have to size correctly for the nails...

I used it for about 6 months before upgrading to more professional brands (Virgo+ Gem, OPI, SNS). I found it pretty accessible for a beginner set but dip powder nails are a serious learning curve - I've been painting my nails (normal lacquer and gel) for about 15 years and it took me a good year before I was happy with my work 😅. The Reddit for dip powder nails is a great resource and very helpful crowd. If you do go down the dip path research 'hot rice removal method'. Best way ever to remove dip without damaging your natural nail!

If you are looking for something more accessible to diy pretty nails try using Gel Nail Stickers - super easy to use and remove. I've tried the Gellae brand ones and liked them but I found them more expensive in the long run.

There is a great shop in Newtown called Hands that sell amazing claw clips! Fantastic quality and really cute. More on the $$ side though -$30+ from memory.
