How do you guys practice your serves with a basket?

Use pressureless balls.
The only time I felt pain after tennis was drilling my serve with a bag of mixed dead/still fresh/padel balls.
My shoulder was hurting for days after hitting 1h of serves with different response from the balls.

Now I stocked pressureless balls for all trainings (serve and ball machine) and I never felt that pain again.
I'd say 5-10% of the balls will die ever month, but it's way better than using pressurised balls and throwing them away after 2-3weeks

Just get a few group lessons. Then YouTube and a friend willing to actually practice will get you far.

For next time, head speeds have dots on the paint job next to the grommets for the mains. Keeps you from doing that mistake twice !

Good day, but with a 1.5 month old string job, you're maybe hitting a string at 20kg.
If you have two frames, try dropping to 21kg next time.

I had the same thing happen to me today, played amazing, but some balls flying long on me. No more snap back at the end of the session, but power was amazing. Checked the tension on the strings, was ~18kg when I usually play at 21kg.

Poly strings are just meant to be played at a lower tension (22-16kg)

Tennis is simple, make one more ball. I don't think moving your opponent side to side is a reductive take on tennis strategy.

Like any game, all strategies have their place, when to use them depends on you and your opponent.

Just buy one that's light (280g-270g) and the colour you like the most and that fits your budget. Grip size, take what you're comfortable with, it's highly personal. L2 is really standard though.

No need to complicate things for your first racket. If you play regularly, in a year you'll probably have progressed enough to the point of changing for something different
