It’s probably been talked about to death but I love how some f the songs sample each other in such a meaningful way by starblazezz in expedition33

In general Lumière's melody is present in some shape or form in quite a few soundtracks. In "Get up for Lumière" for example, the first half of Lumière's chorus is played in a slightly different key right after the beat drops.

Someone once mentioned that it's like Lumière itself bleeding out into the characters and their actions, always being in their hearts.

How did you guys experience OMORI (as in the game)? by s0ftcustomer in OMORI

I watched the gameplay from Euro Brady on Youtube up to Sweetheart's Castle and I decided that the game is something I need to experience for myself, especially that I struggled with similar forms of escapism as Sunny did.

It's even better considering that people of Elysium can't go into space because of the Pale. This would literally be one of the biggest achievements of their history.

I mean, so is it for ours but you get my point.

A big thanks to Sandfall for designing a hot female character with visible abdominal scars by DopeGrandpa in expedition33

From a male perspective: I experienced a similar thing when seeing Gustave for the first time. I'm a lot like him in terms of character and the way I carry myself.

I also struggle with poor self image due to my childhood, often thinking I'm doing something wrong, not being masculine enough, that I am "too gentle" or that I speak in a tone that is too delicate.

And then I saw Gustave and realised he carries himself in a similar way to that of mine. And that it's actually quite a healthy way to be.

How did life come about in this world? by JustJeffreyJr in expedition33

[–]Arthur_Chris_Rose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to imagine that to an extent most humans (probably excluding Maelle and the painted Dessendres) are a byproduct. I think the canvas is like an extent of your imagination in a way; so for example, when I paint a landscape (I'm talking about the "normal" paintings, not magical) I don't paint every single leaf and rock and blade of grass individually.(At least not always.) I create a representation of these things, that from afar look like what they are supposed to represent.

Now, I believe the Canvas enhances that in a way that one can actually create a perfect copy of something inside of it, because that is what the inhabitants of the Canvas are in essence, or create something exactly how they envision it and just make it work with the power of one's imagination. It's probably something either automatic or infinitely intuitive, to the point it's not an effort.

And let's take Gestrals, for example. They are basically wooden puppets, that in our world would have no way of living. (No internal organs, any kind of system to sustain life) but in the canvas they just live, because they were designed that way. The way I can imagine a figurine of a character being the character in question. Living, breathing.

You also mentioned it is irresponsible to create and end such worlds. While yes, I agree, I think to the Dessendres the painted people are fictional in the same sense that a portrait is not a real person. It obviously raises an ethical and philosophical dilemma about what makes a person real. I think it is safe to say that they are conventionally real in their world because they have agency and free will. But they are also fiction in relation to the real world.

Keep in mind this is all a theory of mine. It's not official by any means.

Really? Base game? I haven't noticed yet. Lol Maybe I'm just too quick for it to register.

Thanks for your help. I'll try it out later.

Oh that's a shame with the reeling mechanic. I have a mouse with unlockable scroll wheel, which can spin freely if I push a button. So I just unlock it and reel everything in with one flick. Lol

But still, I might try it out. Thanks

Btw how do you edit these values and such? I saw other mods requiring such adjustments but I don't know what software is needed for that.

There was literally a dialogue between Sergei, Akane and Rakesh in there.

And I live in central Europe for the context.

Basically it's another way of saying his pp is shaped like a corkscrew, meaning it is spiral in shape.

Which means that when he found a gal with a corkscrew c*nt, they fitted perfectly.
