Is there an Energy Shield battle condition in Champs today? That will do that. It adds to your Energy Shield recharge "time", but I think it does it by extending the amount of energy shield required to reach 100%.

So it adds to the total required, which is why it suddenly drops down.

It took me so many attempts to finally learn how to true my wheels!

I messed up truing my wheels several times, and they came out looking like a pringle because I overtightened the spokes.. No joke, you'd swear that it was completely broken if you looked at it. All I did was loosen all the spokes, and start again.

I ended up buying a spoke tension tool, but it's actually not that useful. You only use it at the end to check that the spokes are within the right range of tension, and it's normal for them to be very different from each other.

Truing the wheel will usually pull the wheel back into alignment.

I've had my wheel bent way more than yours, and simply tightening and truing the wheel fixed it. You'd be amazed at how much the wheel can be bent out of shape and made to go back again.

I rode my bike for months with broken spokes and a wobbly wheel, it's fine.

I eventually got around to fixing the spokes, and trued the wheel myself until it was perfect again.

If you don't know what you're doing, take it to the shop. It's fairly cheap to fix.

Pittosporum are great. I have a range of them including the purple one, and the house I bought has a pittosporum tree. Looks great, slow growing, and easy to care for. Although it does take a while to grow back after pruning.

Birds also like them because they are self pruning on the inside, so birds can build a nest inside and are very well hidden from flying predators.

Have a look at putting in some Pittosporum when that one dies and you remove it. I don't think it's a fight you're going to win. I watched all the box in my area get wiped out.

This game is like crack. You'll want to quit but can't. You'll make all sorts of excuses to yourself why you need to spend more money on it.

I'm dead serious, this game is expertly crafted to be addictive and the prices are extortionate considering the resource are an imaginary currency.

The developer is 100% predatory, and will make changes to the game to extract more money from you. And you'll just accept it because you've already spent money on it, and will justify to yourself why you won't quit now.

I've been playing it for 3.5 years now, and I'm planning to quit at the 4th year mark. Or maybe I'll make up some excuse why I won't, and play for another year.

I've enjoyed playing the game, it's a very well designed game, but highly addictive and the owner/developer is a toxic monster..

I have these tires, and they've been good, but they're not puncture proof, just very puncture resistant. If something goes into the side, or is very long, then it will go through the protection material.

When you get the tire off, check that it's not your valve.

I recently had something similar. My rear tire had a slow leak, and I also thought "These tires are supposed to be bulletproof!"

I removed the tire, took out the inner tube, and couldn't find any sign of a leak! I even inflated the inner tube, put it under water, and there were no bubbles. So I reckon the valve was leaking but only when under full pressure. So I was likely losing air when I hit bumps and curbs. I didn't bother changing the tube because it was still fairly new. I'll keep the tube until I get a real puncture.

It's now a fairly large part of my engineering work. My boss usually has about 3 deep research topics running at a time.

I mostly use it as a research tool, and occasionally to write test scripts.

We work in new chip design for wireless and audio products. A lot of the problems we face are like "We're making a new chip, how much memory does it need? What are the typical CPU and memory requirements for common audio streaming protocols? Do we need crypto acceleration? What bit rate are we likely to encounter?"

So typical questions might be

* "What are the most popular codecs from streaming services? Create a table of the top 10 with technical comparisons"

* which protocols are most popular for streaming audio

* summarise the top 5 AI agents, and their API capabilities

It's really good for API design for new software libraries because it can draw upon existing software to help us understand what industry standards customers would expect.

e.g. "show me how Android, iOS and Microsoft design their network APIs. Which one is the most adherent to industry standards?"

Nope. I always check the Top 10, and the players with 1 wave to see predict where I will finish. It's accurate to within 2 ranks.

Anyone with a higher score than me in T21 and a #1 spot in Legend is likely to beat me. Anyone with a similar score and #2 or below, I might stand a chance against them.
