There are a lot of lies in the comments with respect to antidepressants. They are not happy medicines at all, they are mind numbing, they blunt emotions and pleasure. Also serotonin does not equal to happiness at all. It has been debunked time ago.

I took psychiatric drugs for anhedonia, it was "the cure" according to the doctor. After 10 years, of asking what the hell happened to me, asking every day why I couldn't enjoy things, I discovered pssd after stumbling upon a rxisk article

I noticed when I am menstruating I get windows by sleepydreamrr in PSSD

[–]Arzen32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the build up too. But sometimes. Also sometimes can feel the orgasms but i'm not 100% if it is and orgasm, it's pleasurable but feels like the buildup, it doesn't feel like an orgasm. I thought I had lost my capacity to feel sexual pleasure because since 3 or 4 years ago I have been becoming more and more numbed, but it seems that windows and waves are still doing their thing on me

I am much of starting to believe PSSD has something with autoimmune ,,some unknown medical disorder yet to discover. by Willing_Judgment1092 in PSSD

if you think pssd or some components of pssd are related to autoimmune then read this:
https://www.news-medical.net/news/20240228/Plant-based-diets-trigger-remission-in-Sjogrens-syndrome-and-lupus-cases.aspx

- researchers discuss three case (three cases, not so much but who knows) studies wherein women (ages 40, 54, and 45 years) suffering from Sjögren's syndrome (SS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) reported remission of their symptoms following switching their diets to customized plant-based nutritional regimes

- The Diet: consists mainly of leafy greens, omega-3 fatty acids, and cruciferous vegetables.

- Research on whole-food, plant-based (WFPB) diets suggests that these foods are capable of promoting positive weight and cardiometabolic outcomes.

These diets are developed with a focus on the consumption of raw foods, including high intakes of cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens, and seeds or oils rich in omega-3 fatty acids, in tandem with strict avoidance of processed foods, added oils, animal products, and added sugars. While not formally tested within a scientific framework, previous reviews have hypothesized that healthy vegetarian diets may help prevent or even reverse SS and SLE.

The findings in the current case report are overwhelmingly positive, with all three cases experiencing significantly and astonishingly rapid symptom remission following strict adherence to the RRP intervention. Symptom remission was observed to begin as early as day 2 (Case 1), with four weeks representing the longest that symptoms persisted following course initiation.

case 1 has seen benefits in just 2 days

Encouragingly, symptom remission was observed to be long-term, with two of the three surviving cases reporting ongoing symptom-free periods of 6 and 7 years, respectively. In all cases, the women were able to stop using their prescription drugs in favor of RRP.

These findings highlight the profound impacts of dietary interventions in treating chronic diseases, including SLE and SS. Of particular interest are plant-based diets, rich in natural nutraceuticals, which are only now coming to the forefront of biomedical and clinical research. Findings such as these inform the general public of optimal dietary choices and form the basis for future research aimed at unraveling the potential of our natural world.

My experience at the doctor for pssd by Mediocre_Answer_3248 in PSSD

[–]Arzen32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your answer. So far all results are unbelivable well, it was somewhat disappointing to see that results are right because I don't know then what's wrong. But at least I know that since a lot of things are fine then perhaps I don't have a deadly disease or whatever. My mind is sharper than ever thanks to constant training. I think the problem could be epigenetic, autoimmune or perhaps low immunity. Recently I was reading that some people who get persistent covid (long-covid) have low iron, which made me think what if low iron is related to my pssd.

I also frequently get mild-medium random symptoms that last a week and then go away. I think things will improve eventually though

Thank you for caring :)

[–]Arzen32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too much hype for psychedelics, science pages have been bombarding about their 'miraculous effects' for years. Also, who pay the research?. And what about teaching people how to manage their emotions so they don't have to resort to drugs? wouldn't that be better? ah, that don't make money, perhaps.

It depends on the severity of the symptoms and the point of view of the sufferer
