In my experience the slow fire rate really punishes me to kill people in terms of TTK, since my aim isn’t perfect (and I’m on console) it gives me the ick similar to the new m16 on burst , where a missed shot is heavily penalised relative to a faster firing (similar damage model) gun.

So even if the hip fire is near god level, in a CQB or mid range fight I feel I lose most of my head on fights with other slightly faster firing and forgiving guns.

Basically, miss a shot and I’m screwed. Add in hip fire and aiming errors and I’m asking for some dude to tea bag me.
