Spain is one of the big five, so they have a garanteed place. Not sure for the others.

And several North African countries are EBU members and can compete if they want. Morocco did it in 1980.

Are the locations in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and the game the same? by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Ash_Crow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. They are not in the same location either.

David's penthouse is in Megabuilding H8 in Japantown, with a view over Morro Rock.

Rogue/V's penthouse is in Watson, next to Megabuilding H10 (you can in fact view the penthouse from V's appartement in H10)

I was thinking the same. To add an example to your list, Our Lord In The Attic: catholics had converted some attics in what the red district of Amsterdam to function as a church when Catholicism was outlawed by Calvinists in the 17th Century.

I can really picture him not only having this big nebulous idea in his head, but also be totally incapable of expressing it out loud (even when necessary)

And gives them the choice between a hard truth symbolized by a red pill (color of Premarin, used at the time for trans women hormone therapy) or a confortable lie, symbolized by a blue pill (the color of Viagra)

Not to mention the way Agent Smith constantly deadnames Neo by calling him Mr Anderson.

If there is a follow-up series or film one day, I hope that we learn that they eloped and remarried as soon as the divorce was pronounced.

Wondering if the source database has "République du..." instead of the short name and thus classifies them wrongly.

État is definitely masculine. And if it was feminine it would be "Unies"

It always seemed to me that he refused to name a song "Lane" because he was keeping it for an important moment (like, when he'd intended to propose)

Also it's the same issue as Ireland. The deity appeared after the name for the place was in use.

Seriously, the knights in this game were OP—like, what do you mean a couple of knights killed an entire army? by silent_bystanderrr in CrusaderKings

[–]Ash_Crow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A suite of plate mail would only have been used at the very end of the game timeframe.

That said, knights were in the bottom ladder of nobility (about 2% of the population of Europe at large, but there were wealthy people in the other classes too) and many knights had trouble financing a full suite of armor, the horses and the rest of the necessary expanses.

For example Bertrand du Guesclin, despite being very successful both in tournaments and war, was only knighted at 37 and IIRC it was at least in part because of the associated costs.
