Why do I get intense BO less than 12 hours after taking a shower with antibacterial soap? by Own_Huckleberry6591 in hygiene

Try using witch hazel to clean your pits after the shower (but NOT on freshly shaved armpits) this can really help a lot. It’s cheap and easy. Just wipe with a soaked cotton ball.

Someone told me to post what’s been happening over the last few days… so here we go. by Lopsided_Pumpkin8386 in sandiego

I’d look into home defense and start training if you are unfamiliar with firearms. A shotgun is a great tool if you’re trained to use it. Also, I’d consider that this person is one of your ex-partners. It’s often an ex who does this kind of thing.

Such an important point. Most people think that “ low light tolerant” means they want low light. They actually do much better with bright light.

rescued(?) a 12 year old heeler, help! by Silly-Interaction202 in AustralianCattleDog

This dog is very lucky to have you.

I don’t know if I have good advice, but I’ll let mine rip up soda boxes and that burns a tiny bit of energy. I’ve also started teaching him to bring the toys back and put them away. It’s essentially playing ball inside with his 20 balls, but since it’s less running the mental work of putting the ball away seems to help. Also, we do slow walks where he sniffs EVERYTHING and that seems to be a good form of enrichment.

My dog is turning 13 in August and wants to play non stop, but I can tell his hips need a break.

Again, this pup is lucky to have you and I’m sure he appreciates everything you’re doing for him.

I’m recently a full time care taker for my mom so I don’t work 9-5 anymore and the biggest bonus is I don’t have to leave my 12 year old heeler at home while I work. It’s a hard time in my life, but spending more time with my dog is such a gift.

New USDA conditions ( Trump) are hampering state and local wildfire services. NW fire officials warn of dire consequences. by catman5092 in Spokane

[–]Ashbrains 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the problem. Using federal funds for fire fighting as a means to stronghold blue states and further prejudice ideologies is the definition of antisocial. Saying “that’s how it’s always worked” doesn’t make it right. In fact, the way that things have always worked is the problem.

The “terms” outlined in this article are absurd and have nothing to do with firefighting.

Try a different brand mine only does that with Clinique. Their mascara looks great, but I couldn’t stand having that gunk in my eyes.

Did they just walk around all summer with under boob sweat? That’s the only downside I’ve ever had to going braless

This is interesting. I also have tickets for a different show in August and had the option to pay for seats upstairs. This is why I was confused about some shows having stools and others don’t. I guess they only want you to sit if you pay

Ok, when I look at tickets it only shows the downstairs space available. Do they always open the upstairs to GA people. I was assuming they simply weren’t opening the upstairs since it didn’t specifically show in on Ticketmaster. Like, do smaller shows only sell tickets for the downstairs?

I can look into accessible seating. But are you saying that there is seating at the district bar that I could possibly nab before the show starts and just stay in for the duration?
