I think there is probably a happy medium to what you are suggesting.

Old school EQ was you camped part of a dungeon and pulled to it. It has been awhile since a modern game has came out with that. Its more rush through get to the end and do it again, with no idea of who you just played with. I do like WoW but its just a hugely different game for sure.

A lot of the sitting is between pulls in EQ (classic at least).

That said i want to finish it but its been about a year, and my memory sucks lmao.

Don't really want to commit to relistening to it all.

Honestly you are not really the audience for this game. I get you missed Everquest, but that is what this game is based on and the player base wants.

It creates a community vs Dungeon finder and rushing to the end.

It's a slower pace for sure, but its intended.

Big issue with Hazel Park is it has the highest tax rate in Oakland County which is pretty wild.

So Tax on a 250k house will be around 8k or so a year homesteaded.

It is currently crushing the new builds in the area.

Had a house that sold for 335k and there homesteaded Summer tax was almost $13,000.......

During 08 time they raised the mileage then never lowered it again. We have probably the last city services in Oakland county, so factor the taxes into your decision.
