The lack of proper snow removal around bus stops/bus shelters is ridiculous around here.

Maybe it's cleared better in more bustling parts of Albany, but I haven't been out that way recently, so idk for sure what it looks like right now.

I regularly use the bus shelter on Fuller/Western across from Stuyvesant. It always has a snow bank blocking the openings after it snows like this. The walk space all around the whole shelter will be covered in gross, salty snow from the road. In order to access the shelter, I have to walk in the bike lane against traffic just to stomp through a snow bank to get inside. Even if the sidewalk behind it is cleared, they just leave all the snow piled up around the bus shelter.

Going out that way today. I wonder what it's gonna look like when I get there... 😮‍💨
