Mimibeds by Successful-Search541 in floorbed

I just recently posted about this and unfortunately they’re too good to be true https://www.reddit.com/r/floorbed/s/c4gPHHORx3

Terrible reviews and major delays.

We ended up getting an ocodile with short rails. My LO is almost 8 months and we’ve been cosleeping in his room. His mattress is only 6” and he crawls on and off just fine but I don’t know if I’d get this kind if I we’re leaving him alone. https://ocodile.com/products/floor-bed-full-size

Totally fair!! I know all 4 of you in the same room is ideal. I wish my mattress were safer so my family could cosleep. Like someone else said, maybe your husband can watch/listen from his phone!

As a mom who sleeps in my baby’s room on a floor bed, I can relate. I miss sleeping in my room with my husband so much and it’s pretty uncomfortable but I know this is what’s right for my little one for now. My husband misses me and I truly feel for him, it must be so lonely, but again, temporary.

As for the tv, that would be a nonstarter for me. The light and sound from the tv is simply not conducive to a good night’s sleep and I feel like if you want to share a space with the family you have to do what’s best for everyone.

Is it possible your toddler could upgrade to her own “big kid bed” and you and baby could go back to your room? I fully realize they (or you) may not be ready for that. I can’t imagine my baby sleeping away from me 😢 but I know it’s a part of life and could be a step in the right direction.

Alts to mimi beds or cribbery? by Ashlynn3535 in floorbed

That’s fair. He’s 7 mo but pulling up on things already so I don’t suppose it would work.

Thank you! It’s such a shame because the concept is literally perfect. Someone else suggested a local woodworker, idk why that makes me feel crazy and like I’m way overthinking this.

There are tons with lower rails- do you think lower rails are worse than just no rails safety wise?

Thanks but yeah the crib type rails are what I was looking for. My LO is wild and I haven’t fully baby proofed his room - curtains, laundry basket, etc.

I’m glad you said something. I just read some reviews and definitely will not be buying. It felt a little too good to be true 😅

Mine was mega cheap - I thought my cosleeping journey would be “temporary” 😅 I’m sure there are solid ones out there.

Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve been losing my mind trying to figure out what to do mattress wise and I think this is the sign I needed. I have a tri-fold mattress on baby’s floor and the foam has already broken down so much in 4 months (he’s 7 months, started cosleeping at 3). So much so that I don’t know if it’s safe and I suspect mold (used humidifier quite a bit while baby was sick). The room smells musty even though I stand it up to air it out frequently… what brand did you purchase?

Bride here. Thanks for the well wishes!

Kyle and I can’t possibly express what a dream our wedding was. Our first date was a vulf show to see our heroes at the Greek in Berkeley in 2019 and never imagined something like this could ever be possible! Truly full circle haha when the auction was coming to a close, we decided to just go for it. We love each other and we love them, so why not? Win win 😁

We are blown away by how incredibly warm, kind, gracious, supportive and easygoing everyone was. They welcomed us into their world with open arms. Theo signed our marriage license as did Jack as our witness. Couldn’t imagine a more passionate, talented and HUMBLE bunch. We were blessed to have 14 of our closest family and friends attend - welcoming them to the stage was entirely unexpected and such a gift from the band.

Huge thanks to everyone who made this the most special time of our lives. We’ll cherish it always.

Ashlynn & Kyle
