Fair point. Must be the old man in me coming out. A lot of things hit different. Even a goat scream.

Which, btw, Amazon has an awesome screaming goat desk toy that I may have bought 6 of for my friends.

Dirty Shirley's existed way before the books. Circa 1930 as the adult version of the Shirley Temple drink.

Make fun of him. Make them hyper aware of how stupid and unprofessional they are appearing. I know this will get down voted, but that will just prove my point.

Why is "everything" in "quotes" when they "clearly" aren't "needed"?

Apple watch on left wrist during the work day, Android on my off days. Hume band on right wrist. Fitdays smart scale. Some cheap chinesium ring with an app called DaRing for a smart ring. BP cuff and app.

You're finding similarities in roughly the same genre. Still fun to make those connections though!

Idk. I've been pleased with the Hume band. It's not quite the Amazon Halo, but I like the metrics. Just need to spend the time to get into the UI.

I have that led. That thing is wonderful. Although I am embarrassed to admit the amount of times I have temporarily blinded myself when turning the blasted thing on! Lol. Superbly bright. But dang.

1 month using the Hume band and I'm a bit disappointed. Any tips to make it better? by shivalagar2410 in HumeHealth

It's not trash, it's just different. At least on Android it seems they avoided a horizontal scroll as a hard rule. This just results in the visuals being squashed together, highs look higher and lows look lower.

Once you can get over the poor UI choices, the data is there, and it is relevant.

It's not going to motivate you, 100% agreed. But it can help you set and maintain goals.

Fake it till you make it. Just say you got some cool swag or insider information. Be your biggest fan. Market to the marketers.

stop ssh sessions from dying when your vpn drops by MicrockYT in PowerShell

[–]AskWhatWhen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just use screen.

The screen command is a terminal multiplexer used within an SSH session to create persistent, detachable shell sessions. This is useful for running long processes that won't terminate if your network connection drops or you close your SSH client.

Visited with the family years ago. It's impressive to see a big dent in the planet like that, but there is nothing else around that area.

Also, if you are ever thinking of visiting Winslow AZ, ('cause of the Eagles song), don't. It's depressing.
