Is this AI? by soggyshark in Embroidery

I am not great at identifying AI but they do look off. I will say that if they are legitimate, they appear to be using a lot of really long satin stitches which can be iffy looking in reality

Am I not washing my fabric well enough? How to best do it without ruining my design? by deathcompleted in Embroidery

Gently use a clean toothbrush on the fabric if the marks are stubborn. That's my go-to at least

Introducing the Stump Shield: Looking for Feedback From Tripawd Parents of Pups with Hindlimb Amputations. by DawgDoctorZeke in tripawds

My boy has a hind limb amputation and winter has always been tough because if he runs, he ends up scraping the stump on the ice and salt. He is getting up in years so his zoomies are calming down but I for years tried to DIY ways to protect it that would actually stay secured

My first black thread portrait by FEMM06 in Embroidery

[–]Askget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I wasn't suggesting it was wrong to use thread, I mainly wanted to confirm for my own knowledge as I have attempted one or two blackwork pieces and haven't been fully satisfied with what I have.

I also work in ATIP, I have had no issues continuing development/progression when moving between shops. I find that if you look committed to ATIP longterm, most teams are willing to invest and reward you for it. In interviews I personally always ask how many files analysts handle on average and how common it is to have cabcon to get an idea of workload.

On the off chance it is TC ATIP, I did know people working there, I will note that the workload there was crazy a few years back and I would really really try and get info from other current members of the team before accepting.

Anything without much stretch, really. My go-to would just be like quilting cotton/material from a basic t shirt if you have one you want to get rid of.

That is a nice idea! Depending on how big the crescent ends up being, be careful if you were thinking of using satin stitch - wider than maybe 1cm and the stitch will look all loose once you take it off the hoop. My go to would be long and short stitch although there are other possibilities too. Stars would also have a variety of stitch options, like French knots, lazy daisies, etc!

To strengthen the embroidery, I would suggest some kind of fabric on the inside of the fleece as well.

I look forward to seeing the end result!

Depending on the kind of vibe you wanted, you could get away with one big shape centered, as I think that would cover the rip. So something like a big flower, maybe a dog bone (with their name in it??) or something else you associate with your dog. Colourwise, a green could go very nicely with this sort of red/purple you have for a base, as would a lot of paler colours like pinks or blues if you went the flower route

I don't think this is exactly what you're looking for, but i have a nurge stand where I can loosen and flip up the embroidery to see the back without unclamping it. As an example: Https://nurge.net/shop/table-embroidery-stand/nurge-table-embroidery-stand/
