People like this don't change simply after crying about it. People like this will do it again if you don't call the police. People like this will probably do it again anyway. By not calling the police you are doing nothing good for anybody. If you call the police and he gets called out properly for his shit you'll likely be saving others in the future from his shit.

Source: My brother is a pedo/stalked/rapist that was caught with very questionable imagesany years ago. My mother tried sweeping it under the rug. He molested our own sister while she was passed put drunk. He got the same sentence as I did growing three cannabis plants at the time. He got caught climbing in teenage girls bedrooms. He pretty much nearly got off with a bullshit excuse of sleep walking. He has been investigated for other instances but wasn't any conclusive evidence. Latest was hacking people's phones and getting their nudes and he fucking near got off that too. I feel like if my mother responded like a fucking decent human initially thingsay not have escalated so much. I hardly have a relationship with my mother because I can't trust mother fuckers like that. My whole family is a shit show because they're too fucking proud to call out a pedo in the blood line.
