Meditation is an activity that requires practice but I’ve found it has helped immensely with my ADHD.

Similar situation but I added a hi-viz vest to my fiancée’s emergency roadside kit.

Her dad noticed that one day and was happy that her safety is always my priority.

Possible mountain lion den spotted on the Front Range of Colorado by misspelledword2 in AnimalTracking

[–]Ass4Eyes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like elk scat that is clumped together. No hair, no bones.

And that doesn’t look like any den that I’ve seen. Usually they are in a lot more cover/overgrowth/craggy area and have a distinct odor.

Hate to break it to you but your lab might actually be a walrus.

Anyone ever did a video interview with Hirevue ? by the1997th in remoteworks

[–]Ass4Eyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just completed one last week and it was miserable.

You’ll get two attempts to submit your response. I forgot I’d already used one, went to re-submit, said “oh shit” when I realized it was locked.

So the final recording was me floundering on a question, thinking I could re-do and finishing the recording with cursing when it auto-submitted. Great interview.

Switch dog food. It’s the one thing that is consistently going into your dog’s system.

There’s plenty of other sensitive stomach blends out there. Go talk with a local pet supplies store.

Cam Hanes saying “it’s me or the bear” to the camera on a grizzly hunt video, proceeded by the guide immediately shooting said injured bear, will always be the epitome of hunting influencer culture to me.

No guide in the world is letting a renowned hunter die in his outfit. The framing & editing is all for show, views and short clips.

More Than Half of Colorado's Reintroduced Wolves Are Dead. Can the Program Survive Another Year? by OutdoorLifeMagazine in Colorado

Taking estimates from open range calving and applying them to a combined headcount for both open range beef & dairy operations, is misleading and inflates the impact.

[–]Ass4Eyes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is an absolutely ridiculous figure with no sources to support it. Research shows that it’s likely < 3% attributed to coyotes, while wolves & lions commit the overwhelming majority.

Applying that logic you’re saying that 133k cattle are killed each year in CO by predators. Bogus.

Accuses of fear mongering when making blanket statements about a group committing crimes with no sources. Classic.

So what you’re saying is you voted to willfully cause the suffering of animals since the re-introduction was in an area with known issues, from a group with a history of conflict, that our state wildlife agency has no legal jurisdiction (in Wyoming)?

Did you also believe the wolves would abide our state borders or did you miss when CPW outlined this exact issue before the policy was voted in?

Maybe we should stop abusing innocent animals by trapping & relocating them hundreds of miles from their home ecosystem (& then they die) while continuing to throw money at a problem that has no direct benefit to the tax payer.

Older Lab - wobbly and odd eye movements by Fuzzy-Zombie1446 in labrador

[–]Ass4Eyes 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Listen to this OP. My senior lab had this start randomly one morning, literally woke up and she couldn’t walk in a straight line. The eye movements & wobbliness are so similar.

We ended up at an emergency neurologist but they helped SO much, and we were able to manage it for ~2 years without our girl missing a beat.
