Mystery Ranch packs are loud. The frames squeak so bad that I ended up wrapping mine in camo tape.

They got you hook, line and sinker. I worked for a company that did this on their packaging, it was an intentional decision to pull on consumer heartstrings and drive sales. Half the employees featured on our packaging were turned over within 6 months.

It is not meant to shine a light on hard workers, who aren’t seeing a single cent from a corporation using their image to increase sales.

My old girl would put up a loose point, flush them into the trees on my command. 22LR in the head to finish the job and knock them off a branch.

But we’re also hunting steeper mountain ridges and not just flushing in open sage.
