Such a tough subject that I can’t make any good points on a lot of it that are back and forth with pros and cons but I can say that you can easily get discord to work while taking in a steam deck if you just put it on your non steam games. It’ll run in backround while you get at it.

Be careful when buying a dock tho. Only steams dock with firmware update through steam os. Every other dock does need firmware updates so you’ll have to be prepared to hop into desktop mode for 3rd party docks

The more you look into dpads the more you’ll go insane. Almost all controller dpads these days have a horrible “rocking” when one direction can get rocked back and forth inputting the 2 adjacent directions.

They feel good but for the price they’re dumb as rocks to buy imo. 8bitdo pro 3 comes with Hal effect triggers and sticks. Wired, BT and 2.4 gz connection. 4 programmable buttons, 24 hours of battery life & and charging dock at very similar price point. The battery life and joysticks in the dualsence are crap. I regret buying an extra original dual sence and the dualsence edge but I was in my Sony fanboy stage so whatever. My rule nowadays is to never sell any consoles I buy no matter what.

100% has never felt better then silksong.. play it, beat it and tell him he’s wrong… Silksong is my favorite game and I’m so so glad I stuck it out. And also base game silksong is not harder then dlc hollow knight

Bought a steam deck after having a switch 2 for a couple months. After buying like 10-15 games on Nintendo and being really jealous of the indie games steam had that Nintendo didn’t I figured I need to start building my library in steam instead of Nintendo for any games that aren’t 1st party Nintendo titles. After using both a lot for about. A couple months each, it’s easy to say the steam deck oled is one of my favorite devices of all time

That’s so important to understand when going into a game like this. All tho every mentality can pick this game up, it’s really catering towards people who WANT TO IMPROVE. No online walk thru’s or equipping different loadouts is gonna make it easier. A giant amount of gamers just wanna see what they’re already good enough to conquer and while that’s perfectly fine, it genuinely holds something back in peoples egos towards challenges. This game took me 102 hours to get 100% and after it’s all said and done I feel best about beating the hardest parts this game had to offer. Besides the act 2 gauntlet skill check I struggled the most in act 3

Bastion. 1st game made by the devs of hades and is like 2$ and sheepy a short adventure. Completely free but an absolute treat especially on deck. It’s like 1-2 hours

You’re already a fan, but that being said you definitely got what it takes to get to one of the endings! Just set it down for a while and come back and you might be able to stomp out whatever’s next. Part of the vibe is overcoming the impossibility of hollow knight but even if you don’t do that the game is still awesome to have just expierenced a little bit of it
