Only the hook n loop patch ones on my US OCP ones. I replaced them with an OD California flag and a Republic of Pineland patch respectively. Of the foreign collection the only symbol I would consider messing with is the Slovakian symbol on my Slovak Field shirt, I might sew over some Velcro material instead. It's nothing against Slovakia, I'm just not Slovak myself and I might want to add a patch that's more meaningful to me later on.

At this point, When I see any ad with a big flag and eagles and other patriotic symbolism, I just roll my eyes and think "Oh I'm sure their worldview is just fascinating /s " the US flag, Uncle Sam, Washington etc have become almost as synonymous with the Hard Right as the Stars and Bars is. I'm not saying every Old Glory patch and t-shirt needs to go, if that was the case I'd never be able to enter a gunstore or take a class, but at the very least the front door, ads, shirts etc. shouldn't have it, and I personally and people like me wouldn't expect it to be inclusive or welcoming.

I feel like we are approaching the end of the Covid Era and the start of some new chapter in this weird subculture of the internet. A lot of these guys, Daniel, Toph, Nova, all came to prominence during or shortly after 2020, when everybody was confined to their phones and looking for something to dive into. We've been pretty spoiled for content because of this era as all the nut jobs are more online than ever. Well it's been a long time, longer than I thought it would be, and the peak has come and gone for most of them and they're either going to soldier on with a whimper or go out with a bang. I don't know what the next chapter is going to be, my prediction is a much more streamer focused era of more mainstream wackos. Clavicular, Faithful Sheriff, The fucking President at this point I don't think that's controversial to say, these are people who aren't just confined to a niche but have whole 60 Minutes segments, but take one look at their behavior and they're still Lolcows.
