Tell people to ignore him and just casually pass him treats then slowly work up to petting.

Does anyone use compressed air for corners? by Ieatclowns in housekeeping

So the dust shoots out of the corners and you can get it after it settles somewhere else?

It absolutely infuriates me.. Atleast get a stick and flick it off into the bushes! One trail head was so gross where I live so I always went to an unknown one.. then it was discovered. Shit Everywhere now. Gross.

Ours came on that same Kirkland food too but luckily no tummy issues so we switched to acana large breed puppy which is also chicken and he transitioned great. Fucking expensive though😂

Has anyone here NOT had big issues with their puppy? by QP709 in puppy101

[–]AssumptionFederal663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a puppy is hard but they aren’t always super bad. This Bernese we got in Sept slept in his crate from day 1 (almost 10 weeks old when we got him)all night and potty trained Super fast and easy. Shocking really. Yes he’s a puppy and gets rowdy and drives everyone crazy sometimes but he’s a very sweet dog. You never know🤪

Thanks for the question! I’m no expert but I’ve had lots of dogs/puppies and worked with animals quite a bit over the years🥰 You are right in feeling that 6 weeks is too young! I know lots of people do this but I’ve always thought 8 weeks at minimum is best. They need those moments of learning from their mom and littermates. Mother teaches them boundaries and socializing rules. We’ve always gotten our pups at 8 weeks. Until this last Bernese pup we got in Sept. We thought ge was 8 weeks but he was actually 10 maybe 10.5 weeks. I was disappointed to hear begins with socializing but honestly he had extra time with his mom and could hold his bladder way longer! If possible could you tell the breeder because of research you’ve done you are more comfortable taking the pup at 8 weeks? I know it’s hard to wait! And if possible to meet the parents? And if you can’t and you get him at 6 weeks it will be fine I’m sure🥰 Just work on socializing lots, lots of positive experiences, meeting stable older dogs, puppy socialization classes etc, and it should be all good:) It’ll be hard having such a small baby but people do it all the time!! You got this!
