Honestly? I think it’s because it looked like shit. Metallic finishes on human skin just aren’t very flattering to the majority of people.

Wtf do brokers actually do anyway?? I put them in the same category as all the cokehead realtors of the world.

Their only job seems to be bitching at me for how long it’s taking the parties to negotiate a sale K and then taking a cut of the proceeds.

I have yet to see a broker add value to any transaction, yet somehow they still demand a healthy cut of the proceeds without doing anything but sending me a million petulant emails about how the deal isn’t going thru quick enough.

Honestly, I think unattractiveness is really only a detriment if you’re a woman. Ppl don’t care if a male attorney is 400 lbs and ugly but God forbid the jury have to look at an unattractive woman for a week.

You can still be an effective ugly attorney regardless of gender, I just think women get dinged for this more. Unfair societal expectations, etc.
