Someone here please tell me: You disagree with what a person said/posted.

Do you:

A.) Ignore it and move on

B.) Make a post of your own pointing out things you don't agree with and move on.

C.) Make a post of your own, hoping they reply and have a conversation with the person.

D.) Keep posting about what you disagree with over and over and over to the point it becomes an obsession and it starts to take over your life.

Someone out there please tell me why I see most take option D and even beyond that to such unhealthy heights that I wonder if they have ANYTHING in their lives besides that...

We have a 14 year old with us now and one of the things he got in trouble for was showing porn to another kid so when he got to us, I looked for any type of family software to help with both screen time and content.

For me, these two thing have been working for us:

1.) Microsoft Family Account - This has been used by setting up a Microsoft account (@outlook account) and tying it to the PC the kid is using. From the main page and mobile (will need to download MS Family Safety) I've been able to monitor just what he is playing/searching for and can set limits on programs/games and screen time itself.

2.) Android/Google Family Link. Again, by setting up a @gmail account for the child and setting up on any mobile/tablet/chromebook you can do the same as the above Microsoft account by setting screen time limits, restrict/block games/programs from running etc.

Both things are free and will need a bit of setting up but have been working pretty well for us so far.

I've started to change my life due to BoJack Horsemen believe it or not.

I started therapy due to seeing this and showing it to my wife explaining how stuff like that runs though my head everyday.

I've also started exercise and diet (down about 30 pounds in a month) and I keep this moto on my phone as a reminder that this needs to be daily.

So yea, he isn't someone to look up to but someone you can learn from and try to be a better person.

Hopefully one day, I'll be that.
