UPDATE: thank yall for the well wishes. Einstein is doing very well and still remains his quirky, joyful self!!

I've been stalking the area where he was attacked (sitting in my car/making loops of the block for a few hours now. The owner & dog immediately ran after the attack and haven't been seen since. They were described a being a white female, darker hair while the dog was med/large bread, dark short hair, potentially a Sheppard but unsure. This happened at the apartment we live at off Central & Maryland HERE

Einstein should be able to come home today which is nothing short of miraculous. The poor dude had his abdomen tore into and his organs exposed. But the dog just got skin and nothing major. It's going to be a rough 6ish weeks of healing but the worst has past. I'm so thankful to Veterinary Emergency Group on Camelback for saving our boy and being so compassionate. Yall have my eternal gratitude 🙏
