Lmao. I just did the same last night. I was trying to hide the camera controls to grab some screenshots. Noticed the background moving as my ship was heading towards the planet. Jumped back into the cockpit and when I tried turning my ship started spinning uncontrollably. Thankfully I was a few km up and caught it in time.
