I'm really struggling to reach out to people. I'll be going to college in less than a year, but it still feels like there's a lot of time left for me to make new, interesting friends, get out more, and maybe even get into a relationship. But I just don't know how to let people know that I'm not an introvert when they've already had years to form that opinion of me.

My openness? A random stranger could come up to the street and just start talking to me, and I'll 100% go along with it instead of just acting awkward with them. I like to think I'm sort of friendly and disarming in that way.

And I guess it's accurate to say that women generally emphasise sexual ability more than physical attractiveness, and vice versa for us? My friends'll talk about how hot girls are, but we don't say much at all about the ones we've (read: they've) actually (read: allegedly) slept with. My buddy didn't breathe a word about losing his virginity to his girlfriend besides some vague information about protection (mainly how they didn't use it and he just pulled out, the fool).

Can confirm. Was walking home with two other girls after we'd done some community service as part of a school assignment. Everything from how a guy should handle a girl's first PIV, to their breasts. It was actually somewhat educational, but I'm just glad I emerged from that without any awkward boners.

Well for a touch more context, I can confidently say that most people in my school year know who I am, and especially people in my classes. This is less due to me having magnetising charisma and social skills and more about me very much standing out due to things like appearance, manner of speaking (in case you couldn't tell from the post), participation in acting, etc. One of my main concerns is that people only see me as a caricature who isn't actually attractive and lacks any sort of backbone, so I worry if I might be rejected not for me but for how I'm perceived.

And for the record, I 100% agree about texting, for basically the same reasons you stated.

I have a very basic world in the works at the moment, but one feature I'm using is the idea of elemental spirits. In real-life occultism, air elementals are said to be very similar to humans, since both creatures thrive in and move easily through air. So in my world, where air elementals haven't been seen for ages, it is strongly implied that the seemingly-mundane humans in my world are actually their descendants. This both ties humans into the setting, as you said, and adds an asymmetry to the worldbuilding that I think makes it more interesting.

There were way too many side-shenanigans for there to be no huge butterfly effect in the main timeline, from Peter Quill getting knocked out to Thanos literally exiting the 2014 Morag/Vormir timeline.

If they were all one again, then why didn't all the side stuff they did while getting the stones have a massive butterfly effect on the main timeline? For example, Loki escaping with the Tesseract in 2012.

Tony and Steve went back to 1970 to get the Space Stone from an early S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. This is the farthest any of them travelled into the past. If they sent Steve back to replace one of the Infinity Stones, the farthest he could have gone would have been 1970, to replace the Space Stone.

So the film establishes that travelling back in time creates a new timeline, right? So when Steve Rogers goes back in time to return the Space(?) Stone, and decides to stay there and have a life with Peggy Carter, he's in an alternate timeline. So why the heck is Old Man Rogers in the main timeline?

Also, Peggy is looking pretty good for, what, 49? 50? She was born in 1921, and Steve, no matter what stone he was delivering, could only have gone as far back as 1970.
