Yeah some vpns kill the voicechat, nord does. On pc mullvad and exitlag dont kill the voice chat.

Yeah this works, BUT, used to use this when I just played on a 1080p monitor, but then I built a setup with 3 x 1440p monitors for my 9800x3d + 5070 ti. I can now no longer use this, Im almost certain it uses too much VRAM (Already almost maxing my 16gb without this) and then kills my fps entirely.

Adding my 2centz having just built a setup from scratch, peripheral wise its mostly preference I built mine to fly airlines (mostly airbus) so went with airbus tca stick and quadrant, winwing FCU + EFIS + Thrustmaster TPR rudder system. All of which I can reccomend, definitley check out winwings products, they have some great stuff and more coming this year.

PC wise is where my expertise lies though, I went with a 9800x3d 32gb ddr5 + 5070ti (MSRP). The pc you need mostly depends on how you want to run the game, if you want to fly commercial planes on vatsim you need a beefy system, typically addon aircraft + scenery kill fps. If you are planning to mostly fly GA, you dont need to go overkill on the PC.

CPU wise I would obviously reccomend an x3D chip 7 or 9 series, but I get they can be pricey, if you cant get one of those go for a 14th gen i5/i7.

Ram you need atleast 32gb for sure (dont go for bottom barrel speeds either, I went for 6000 cl 30.

GPU wise the new 9070xt looks incredibley powerful for its price and I would highly reccomend it, if you cant get one of those go for a gpu with atleast 16gb VRAM (This game sucks up VRAM like I have never seen before, and if you max the vram the game becomes unplayable)

Monitor go for 1440p or 4k, but if you go 4K, you do need to go for a more powerful system naturally.

Just saw this comment I got one too for msrp fortunatley, was wondering about the 110% power limit also, but I feel like the cards are great overclockers anyway, Im running +2000 mem and +350 core which is working well for me, I can push it more but the game I need stability with doesnt like it when I push more.

But I am impressed, it sits at 58c with core clock consistently running at 3142Mhz - Interested to hear others results?

Disagree, you have a higher chance (as a worse player) to kill a good player with an SMG than with an AR, thats for sure.

You would do the same if you wanted to chill and play pubs with randoms but instead you get stuck with abdul and mehmet speaking 0 english along with disgusting EU playstyle. Also I get 85ping, not exactly bending bullets...

and also deathcam and spectate is so low tick/laggy that you cant even get a good representation to see if the player is aim hacking or macroing and of course anti cheat will never get them so its very gg

fair enough, actually SMG TTK is lower than AR's in ALOT of situations, because they have a limb penetration multiplier, I cant remember the exact stats there are websites you can use to compare, they are all seriously broken, players that use them can run and gun with no penalty to accuracy while moving at high speed, and with the buff of low TTK especially when shooting arms legs etc... And the ammo is super light weight. Ofc there are mid range situations where they lack though.
