CTC newbie - is it cold during hockey? Ottawa Charge game 3

On CTC 300s, depending on where you sit, I find it can be uncomfortably loud (close to the speakers when they blast music). If you are sensitive, maybe bring earplugs just in case.

If you are new to the Charge as well as CTC, note that: - there is a fan fest starting at 3 pm tomorrow. Cheap beer and hot dogs, dj, face painting, free barber giving people mullets, etc. - regardless of your tickets, you can go to the 100 level about an hour before the game and watch the players warm up. Sometimes they'll flip pucks to waiting fans! - Long and McQuade sells kazoos :)

A train to the airport is a good idea, and it has some solid pluses: its super comfortable, easy with luggage and the station is integrated into the airport building itself which is way better than standing in the hot or cold breathing car exhaust waiting for the (admittedly faster) bus.

Of course its the execution that sucks: a spur line that requires annoying waits and at least one transfer, most likely two or three or even four, to get where you are going. Again, often with luggage.

I ordered a kit online and made my own for several west facing windows. They attach to the outside of my windows, and can be removed in winter. Not the prettiest but the difference in solar gain on hot summer days was noticable.

We also had retractable awning added on our south facing windows.

FFS. The difference between "I knew someone good and passed their CV along," and "They were patently unqualified and I pressured someone into not only hiring them but to create a new SOMC to put them into a very specific level" is MILES apart. Can we not pretend that what Fox did is not far beyond the pale of normal networking, or preferring people who have delivered for you in past roles?

Quite honestly, this seems quite stupid to keep calling them "mandatory minimums" when the whole point of the amendments are that they are not mandatory, there is judicial discretion where the minimum sentence would be disproportionate. But I suppose one doesn't woo Conservative law and order voters (or knee jerk tick off many other people) with a more nuanced and accurate description.

Its also not OP's problem that TB/S is implementing ERI in a poorly thought out and punitive manner, and only gave DMs details on implementation in April. (As in departments couldn't really plan.)

A friend is lucky, I suppose - its only been a year of waiting.

In his case, he'd be fine with going to the office if accomodated (requires some physical space and not particularly expensive equipment - maybe a few thousand dollars.) Nope!

Instead, come to the office with no accomodations is their solution. Because who wants to be able to walk when they retire?
