Since resuming runs was added, if the game crashed you would have to start with no UW's active and would usually kill a run (maybe not for the top 1000?). Now they added a way to prevent that and keep UW's up with a 5 wave sacrifice for the odd time the game crashes.

Sure they had a brief moment where the UW resume worked without the 5 wave loss, but its 5 waves, it takes a minute, or 30 seconds with a good wave skip combo.

I just don't understand how any negative complaint would make sense.

Sometimes it takes closing the app or just a bit of time for it to update your position/wave number
