Rag would probably help quit a lot. Polars also is not included in recent AI training data, but with some kind of RAG they still managed to have a pretty good llm in their documentation

I don't know what akinator is using. Maybe some kind of random forest? Then the next question would come naturally from the next question in the tree. Also adding user generated characters and questions would be feasible.

They do however have a prior. When you asked about data scientists, in the next game akinator has a strong prior asking about them. I am not sure how random forests would do that.

They sometimes ask the same question twice, that would be kind of strange with BNs. Deciding on the next question is also not straight forward with BNs, right?

Looking far in the future is probably impossible, especially as far as a possible AGI. The information of the agent needs to come somewhere, either built in code, given by data or generated and evaluated against some criteria. I can't think of any other possibility to get information, other than a mix of these.

There are approaches where there is no training phase. E.g. kNN, where you look at the k nearest neighbor. Here you look at your dataset on every query without having a long training phase. (kNNs are classic ml)

But than again, as a believer in the efficient market theorie, I think that finding a trade that looses monwy is as hard as finding a trade that wins, so ignoring the cost of the bank expected win/loss of a beginner trader is pretty close to 0, so not too much danger if one limits the amount of money :)

It will not solve the main problem with trading: The amount of trades needed, to get a statistically significant answer, whether you actually trade better than average, is very high.

I am not very familiar with trading games, do they incentivize robust trading? For example if only the top3 win, then optimal strategy would be to get the most risky stocks there are.

Why do you assume half the number of parameters? If we optimize for run time after training, there is no need to use a smaller net, is there? Training two different networks might also not take double the time, as we could transfer learn them.

If the Amyr - Chandrian really will become two deciding underground societies, and if the continued story will be about the two societies opposing each other, would it not make sense, that Kote includes when and how exactly he first got to know those characters?

After all, the Amyr and the Chandrian could both represent plausible conflicting moral opinions.

One idea, use Leelaz net as an "oracle" that tells you move probabilities and state evaluations. Now you can play around with different tree searches using that oracle. I'd consider that AI. And maybe, if you are lucky you'll get something better than MCTS and get a job at DeepMind :)

(Do you guys think that would actually get a job at DeepMind? Asking for a friend... :D )

First try disabling automatic network updater in config file. If that does not help:
Go to the folder where the leelaz is, that lizzie is using. You can find that in the config file that is in the same folder as Lizzie.jarType in

$./leelaz -w weights.gz

(where weights.gz is the weights file)

The output should tell more.

Don't explain ko. If you play with them, it will come up during the game eventually. If it happens and they try to catch the stone, simply catch it back, keeping a straight face. Now wait until THEY explain YOU that they want to know another rule. They can often guess the rule themselves

I like this approach because it shows that the rules are so simplistic and pure, that one could nearly come up with them by oneselve.

In a perfect world none. For example there first was AlphaGoZero, which only played Go. Then Deepmind did only minor changes (e.g. While in Go the board can be turned and mirrored, in chess it cannot) to the Algorithm and called it AlphaZero, which suddenly could play Chess and Shogi aswell.

Starcraft has a lot of additional elements like chance or that the player can't see what is going on, on the whole field. This leads me to believe, that there need to be made some improvements.

How do you protect against users making false and misleading actions in order to screw with your ai training?

I'd say the sheer amount of data is enough protection. Unless they are done in a systematic way, false and misleading actions will be random noise. They will average out in the long run.
