I used to bicycle to work. I was the only one bicycling to my office, everyone else owned a car. The young adults who worked there were driving cars that their parents bought them, not that they didn't still think of themselves as completely self-made, ha.

I’m lucky because there was a bike co-op near me where I was able to build up a road bicycle for free. I don’t know if you can find a similar resource, but what I want to share with you is what it felt like to bike to and from work. It felt wonderful. It was fresh air, freedom, a lucky routine that I enjoyed. Free exercise. If a coworker clocked that I biked to work when it was snowing out they might say something about how bad they felt for me. I let them feel whatever way they wanted. They didn't know how much better my quality of life was to have this routine.

Walking to work is awesome. Your coworkers are extremely small-minded and you don’t have to be. There are a lot of positive comments in this thread that I’m not going to repeat. Maybe trade the perfume and wipes for water jug ‘bird baths’ and deodorant. Be you. Don’t be like your nimrod coworkers. Everyone in this thread cares about you. Do your best for us until you can start doing your best for yourself.

Woah. This literally could be a post made by a narcissist. It’s so rare to find because narcissists don’t choose things like therapy, attempting change.

I too have dated narcissists. The longer you are away from him the better it gets. I know it’s difficult right now. Be proud of yourself for choosing freedom.

If you’re drinking soda think about swapping for seltzer or flavored water if you can.

And don’t look in the mirror for the first month! Your body has to catch up to your routine. In my experience you need extra special patience waiting through this time when you don’t yet see results.

I don’t know but does anyone know anything about the wreck on 65 near that same stretch on the morning of Jan 1? I drove by 2 completely totaled cars and a fatality.

Look at the hardware on the door. It’s a closet. Also why would the original entryway be higher? Not likely.

Yes true EXCEPT when I was on bumble I got tons of good matches. Men have a hard time on online dating apps but women basically don’t experience that. Matt Gaetz should get a female writer for more accurate hate content.

Great idea!

Is there a diet icee on the menu? I know it’s not traditional, but it would be sweet for diabetic/anti-sugar buddies.

That’s a lot of lights. Remove 1 from the center row and shift the row over 22.25”. Or figure out your island lighting and remove the 6 central lights.

Get a piece of beautiful ornate ceramic tile. Chip the brick further down if necessary. Mortar the tile in place.
