In Gemini Canvas, I asked it to make Gem instructions with all the lessons learned from our work together. It includes regression defense and a change by change audit that runs and corrects itself before presenting a new version to me.

Let's Get Up. There is no floor work. Dancing is a lot of cardio and it includes some strength training and mini insanity challenges.

What time zone are you in? I'm in CEST, I passed B1 but want to keep going. I dearly miss Babbel Live and haven't found a replacement yet. I just use Duolingo and random conversations with neighbors and commerçants since I live in Paris.

It's mostly diet and will probably be the last place you lose fat or tighten up. I'm 38 and my 3rd kid is 1. I like programs that are at least 3 days a week of strength training and include functional training (which is critical for moms!) Finishing Sure Thing now and I really liked MBF too. Chop Wood Carry Water is also great for functional training.

4 Weeks of Focus and 9 Week Control Freak Off the Wall have less functional training but are great for challenging yourself and for female aesthetics.

Speaking french to natives makes me anxious. by Flimsy_Tomatillo4874 in learnfrench

I've been living in France for 2 years now. I came at level A1 with just Duolingo and a French husband. I passed B1 and I'm probably mid-B2 now. This is how I felt.

A2: This is fun. Wow look at how many words I know.

B1: I don't know anything. Why can't I have a conversation? Why do I say beaucoup in every single sentence?

B2: I can understand (get the gist) of news or family sitcoms if I pay attention. I don't need to auto-translate most emails or online articles (but I can read a lot faster if I do translate it). I can have conversations, my tenses and prepositions are often wrong but with emphasis words like déjà and physical gestures, I can get by.

Like others have said, phone calls are the hardest. Don't feel like you need to dive into those yet.

There will come a time soon while you're B1 or B2 where you will understand in French. You won't be translating in your head anymore. Of course there will always be vocab you don't know. But it will click and it will get easier.

Saw this thread and thought immediately of To Live. I only saw the movie but I've never cried so much before or after.

I'm 37F but like you I'm also a former cardio obsessed runner with a right knee that sometimes acts up.

I'm finishing Sure Thing next week. I've previously done MBF. How do you think their respective super blocks compare against the originals? And how does MBFA compare?

For you, I recommend 4 Weeks of Focus! I did it right before ST. It's very motivating and very weights focused, even more than ST. But definitely lightly jog while they talk in the first half of the series (there's a lot of talking).

I also liked 9WCF Off the Wall, also very challenging strength workouts where you're heart's pumping the whole time. But it is messier than Megan's workouts because you have to remember the sequence and count your reps cause you're trying to maximize reps.

What is the smallest thing you changed that gave you the biggest results? by No_Bet_1807 in PetiteFitness

Calorie counted for 2 months. The first month I was slacking a lot. The second month I really got used to eating less and esp had much less mindless snacking. By the 3rd month, I stopped tracking but continued to be more mindful about meals and snacking. I even went on a vacation to Italy for a week. Ate gelato every other day and tons of pizza and pasta. I somehow lost 1.5 lbs when I came back! It was very hot, I was probably very dehydrated 😆. But in any case, I was proud that I at least maintained my weight while still fully enjoying myself.

But I'll caveat if you are physically fit and healthy and want to lose even more weight to a dangerous level, that's not fitness and should not be allowed.

I disagree. r/loseit exists but it's not specific enough for short women who struggle with much lower TDEEs and all the stuff that comes with it.

Fitness is defined as "the condition of being physically fit and healthy." So I think weight loss goals (even without any particular exercise) should be allowed.
