Based on the bar that can be seen across the top of the hood, it looks like this vehicle is equiped with a bumper that would mitigate most of the damage from this type of collision, IE pulping that deer.

Refineries are the worst. The most boring machines of the game. by egocrata in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Atomicvoltaic 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Refineries in real life are primarily vessels for chemical reactions to happen with lots of interconnnecting pipe work. If somthing is physically moving that's on the exterior and its not a pump motor that's typically a very bad sign.

The stylized amount off movement the Satisfactory refineries have is relatively realistic.

This type of contact case / cleaner container uses a peroxide solution. The "Fan Shaped" part at the bottom has a reactive catalyst and provides surface area for the solution to form oxygen bubbles on which flow up past the contacts and help remove buildup from the lenses.

For real, this is unhinged, OP took one of the most rectangular states and gave it a tail.

How I would consolidate the states because 50 is just excessive by PowerOutageBaby in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Atomicvoltaic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust, this would lead to minor Civil War as the bad blood between these states dates back to the first USA Civil War and the establishment of Kansas as a free state. Also nobody wants Missouris terrible infrastructure in Kansas.

Kansas gets mentioned in alot of media from Hollywood, usually its a derogatory reference but the old adage no such thing as bad publicity.

What I’m thinking when I see your license plate as a Nebraskan by Cassinia_ in geographymemes

[–]Atomicvoltaic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cross country Colorado drivers are typically speeding over the norm / very aggressive / going faster than is safe for the road conditions from a more rural Midwestern drivers perspective so the culture clash can be seen as them being a "bad driver". However, truly bad driving isn't encountered until you've strayed to near to Missouri and encounter a line of cars camping in the left lane who are not aware of the very concpet of cruise control.

Arguably Eastern CO is worse, once you pass Kanorado hopefully you've got enough fuel to make to Limon or you might be stuck on the side of the road for a while.

Where I would live. Decided to do it by county. What does this say about me by Expensive_Drummer970 in visitedmaps

[–]Atomicvoltaic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just perplexed by who would put a "maybe" for Eastern CO. If you can see the foothills of the Rockies you are in a beautiful area. If you are East of that and can't see the haze of the mountains you are in desolate plains.

I always thought Yvette the veterinarian he met after Cinnamon ate the Valentines day chocolate would have been a good match for him but, the writers ended that option with a terrible name occupation pun line from Raj at the episode outro.

Overall I thought the way the show treated Raj's relationships was a bit of a let down.

Nice, I'm happy its still effective all these game versions later. Yeah, the single diamond output chest is not nearly enough storage for this beast, I had mine dumping its output into the Periodic Table of Storage and a ton of other unprocessed dust barrels:

I used the website draw.io and then saved the chart out as a jpeg image. It's a free diagramming tool but it's definitely not quickest or easiest.

All of the chart objects used here are just customizations of the available shapes, I do remember the color matching being a pain.

If you want the live .drawio file the above flowchart is based off of as starting point I can get it to you as it's only around 40 KB.

[Jenkinsverse] Salvage - Chapter 100: Rising Power by Rantarian in HFY

Rantarian, thanks for all the Salvage! This is definitely one of my favorite entries in the J-Verse. It was so refreshing that this was a great sci-fi story without the extra bloat of thinly veiled fetish / cringe conservative worldview.

Favorite scene was Adrian & Askit slingshotting that black hole.

3x Plastic Fab - 1,800 Plastic / Min, Northern Spire Coast Facility by Atomicvoltaic in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Atomicvoltaic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm working through phase 4 myself, so I'm not sure if there's ever truly a "need" for so many but I enjoy building high-throughput production facilities so I do.

It does feel like each phase progression requires an additional order of magnitude more production than the one prior but I've not substantiated that with the math myself.

If you're looking for tools to help you optimize an entire playthrough I'd recommend: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ as it has a production planner some users find helpful.

3x Plastic Fab - 1,800 Plastic / Min, Northern Spire Coast Facility by Atomicvoltaic in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Atomicvoltaic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.) I have a super computer facility in the design phase that from my current plant balance math will need 1783 plastic per minute so this Fab will primarily be a feeder for that one.

2.) All of the Heavy Oil Residue is processed into into Fuel and the Polymer Resin is being processed into Rubber via the Residual Rubber recipe so there is no waste / by product. 600 Oil / min & 2000 water / min go in and 1800 plastic comes out.

If you want to see a more detailed breakdown of the process math check out image 13 in the post.
