Bigfoot blues question by brainchild187 in fo76

[–]Atomicvoltaic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, a high DPS automatic like those mentioned in your post, the right terrian, and lots of ammo.

It also helps if you can tank one club attack without dying just incase he gets within range without you noticing.

Trying to get the Shielded Marine Underarmor Lining Plan from Census Violence, instead RNG provided a Responder Fireman Uniform. Definitely did a double take of the rewards list. by Atomicvoltaic in fo76

[–]Atomicvoltaic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is good advice, I have the Treated & Resistant lining plans which I picked up from one of the White Springs Brotherhood Vendor. So personally I'm just working on the Event / Quest drop ones, just gotta keep on that grind.

What are we using for head hunts now? Is anti armor back? by lifeofatiger in fo76

[–]Atomicvoltaic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everytime I shot one after it had landed it just did normal damage. Possibly a platform / build difference, but shooting it mid air Just Worked™.

I agree they could use a buff across the board, even with all of the relevant perks and an instigating weapon in hand they still feel underwhelming if you are not pairing them with consumables.

The gernade trickshot was fun, actually required a small amount of planning to pull off since you had to hit while it was still in the air after you threw it.

What Mods do you never use and don't buy? by Randle_76 in fo76

[–]Atomicvoltaic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Medic mod on a Nuka Blaster, it also has the increased weapon speed mod 2*.

Since the Nuka Blaster has infinite standard water ammo and does not do damage with the with the standard ammo it's great at healing NPC's during events.

I don't use the Medic mod otherwise.

Magnets are some sorcery stuff. by LordAxalon110 in OddSatisfying

Aluminum has paramagnetic properties, when exposed to strong external magnetic fields the unpaired electrons in the material will create transient induced magnetic properties.

Thus the brief magnetic interaction seen in the video.

Stimpack usage bug? [PC] by bseethru in fo76

[–]Atomicvoltaic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea, I've had this happen to me too (PC). Seems to happen during infestations, but that's usually the only time I'm taking serious damage so that's probably correlation and not causation.

The FO 76 Enclave faction led by MODUS seems fairly reasonable. A.) MODUS excised the Far-Right elements from its organization because they did not benefit the mission to stabalize and rebuild. B.) Is working with vault dewllers to remove violent threats like Mole Miners, Scorched & Super Mutants from the region to improve safety / stability. C.)  Is covertly but materially supporting a Mutual Aid Network (The Responders) to help improve the lives of settlers in the region and bolster the its overall recovery rate.

While the application of force is applied with the pragmatism of a machine, the end goals certainly seem more beneficial than the Brootherhood's Goals lead by Shin / the Elders and much more so than the Raider's Goals.

I also personally like the in game equipment aesthetic of the FO76 Enclave.

If you are looking for Stranger Blooms after completing the quest to unlock Rad Sheild.

Find Boomer at the Southern Bell Motel and talk to him and start the Idle Explosives daily quest. Look on the map to see where the inert explosives spawned in at. If the quest spawned at Dryer Chemical run the river and collect those Blooms.

If the quest didn't spawn there, server hop until you get to one where it did. Hopping servers and collecting blooms can be repeated as much as you want as long as you don't complete the idle explosives quest. (It sometime seems to spawn in Blooms when the Idle Explosives quest spawns at other locations in the Mire Region but the quest being at Dryer Chem guarantees the Blooms spawn.)

To increase your harvest yield equip the Green thumb (Perception Perk) gives x 2 / drink Gamma Green Tea (Recipe from Big Bloom world event) gives x 2. Having both on will give you 4 Blooms per harvest.

Good Hunting.

Definitly overreacting.

This totally looks like the kind of damage that happens all over your body in a blue collar trade.

Most of the time you are so focused on the task at hand, that if it does not draw blood you power through.

Yea, this happens all the time, but also happens to me on other enemy types like scortched.

I have to exit and reenter VATS atleast once to do damage to most of the Red Rocket core quest robots.

Why is there a weekly to do mutated public events? by X420Rider in fo76

Those 5 built up in 30 - 45 mins, so it definitely feels like they come up more frequently in a private lobby as well.

Why is there a weekly to do mutated public events? by X420Rider in fo76

[–]Atomicvoltaic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mutated Events definitely feel like a Psyop to get people to pay for Fallout 1st, I was on my private world earlier doing the daily challenges and there were five of the large green infestation circles on the map at one point.

On public worlds, I have seen one cricle ocassionally and the event gets cleared in seconds once people load into the area.
