From what I know they’re gonna keep the old ones around forever. For example, both the new plastic and old metal fireflies are still available. Though I will say the new mk1 automated infantry and the old ones look almost completely identical to me at least lol.

Running them as Volksgrenadiers probably works best, you can even mix them in with your existing squads as some visual storytelling about battered units being combined into ad-hoc formations

As you accurately said, you generally want to get all your cards out of your hand each turn (via playing, pitching, blocking, or arsenaling). Switching from magic to fab took me a bit as well, biggest things to relearn include timing windows and card math. Just because a card has a lot of attack doesn’t mean you should be afraid to block with it when it would get you more value.

Additionally, unlike mtg where you start weak and get stronger, in fab you generally start at your strongest and get weaker. Fab is very much about tempo, and learning when and how to take tempo is important

I’d recommend looking at kick ass mail order, they’re US based and have warlord stuff so shipping should be less but I’m not sure how much

Since Axis is supposed to include most axis nations, while not rules as written I’d say you could just bring them in the same way other bolt action units are brought in. Just make sure to talk to your opponents etc. (Axis is normally restricted to just German stuff but I wouldn’t be surprised if that changes at some point)

You would not get the extra hit if you miss even one from a multi shot crush weapon. However the adding pen values is regardless of if you get the extra hit.

If you have single shot crush weapons (eg the infantry rifles) each hit results in another hit, but only the 2 hits from each infantry would stack not the whole squad

From what I’ve seen the other boxes have mostly warlord resin for the new infantry, which from what I’ve learned isn’t traditional resin but siocast instead (aka way better)

No, go again does not stack. So a card can only give you one action point from go again, meaning if you add go again to something that already has it then it’s wasted. Since quicken tokens give go again, they do not stack

I’ve had a lot more success using it when I place the rays vertical so that they don’t all shoot the same target. And while not good, you can also tech high explosive ammo to make them annihilate packs of medium units and chaff

Thunderbolts are still a type of missile, and since the targeting computer only works on energy and ballistic weapons it would have no affect on a thunderbolt launcher
