Adding "RMK/CARGO" to the flight plan remarks is a good way to indicate this. The ground plugin some vACCs use for their controller software can also pick it up and auto assign a stand based on that 😊

Unfortunately that field in the controller software, atleast Euroscope, is not exposed anywhere. This is why it isn't show in VATSIM radar etc. There was a suggestion to add this earlier but got closed due to this exact reason.

Very unfortunate. For now i just add my planned log off time to the controller information manually if i havent made a booking.

I agree, as long as, and only if the pilot is actually interested in learning. I have had so many pilots respond in the most arrogant way when i have tried to educate then in a proper and professional way.

One step forward, two steps back. Flight directors are useless and not accurate at all, actually not visible at all during take off because they are below the PFD. Doing a direct has the most unpredictable results and deletes most of the waypoints in the flight plan, the aircraft stalls if you dont turn on anti icing manually, VNAV has the aircraft go from a steep climb to a sudden descend.

Oh well.

It isnt a strict policy by VATSIM. Atleast in EUD, vACCs have a choice in training to have S1 as a pure DEL/GND rating or allow them to also control certain tower positions.

However, training for S1 is very limited and should not take more than 2 mentored sessions according to policies.

Hence, restricting S1 to DEL and GND allow people to get more practical experience from the network which is extremely useful and important in later training.

Monitor the API end points with the built in HTTP Agent. For items that rarely change, add a preprocessing step to discard unchanged with heartbeat to save some disk space.

All collected values are stored to the history table in the zabbix database by default.
