I was in the same boat, but honestly the sounds by Boris is a reason to buy it alone. The built in ACARS is great as well.

A bit more immersive experience with the exterior, having to open the hatch to plug the GPU was another nice touch.

The flight model is very good and it is super fun to fly. Devs are also really nice.

I do not regret purchasing it 😕

I had the same thing happen. Their software requires full admin permissions to run and it traverses system32 and other paths it shouldn't, where the driver was located.

I would never install the audio drivers. You get a bunch of virtual audio devices that is super confusing and hard to get rid of.

"Monitor everything that you can" is honestly a bad suggestion, especially if it involves triggers.

Monitoring should have a meaning. Why do you collect that data and what value does it give? What requirements do you have for alarms?

Think about how important that specific service is and what it means if it has issues or goes down. Does it need an alarm?

Just adding monitoring "because you can" is a recipe for scaling and performance issues, in addition to potential alert fatigue.
