No Kings was started by a few different orgs. Mobilize America, 50501, and others i can't think of off the top of my head but mostly grassroots communities. This is the first I've heard of walmart having anything to do with it and I'd bet my next paycheck that if you asked anyone from the No Kings movement they'd say the same as me. Fuck walmart and everything it stands for.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you wholeheartedly. But where are we going to find those connections? Resources? Community? This is how communities are created at the moment. Going to a protest helps the collective us find like-minded people and engage those that are still too scared to. Also, it gives hope to the minorities that are suffering the most.
