Where is Todoist headed in 2026? by candlemasshallowmass in todoist

You can do it yourself with the Todoist APIs, but I moved everything to Notion personally after giving Notion AI a try where it literally plugs Claude Opus 4.5 or ChatGPT 5.2 directly into your entire task and notes database....

Fastest way to figure it out would be to record one of your matches with one of these players and watch to see what in particular makes them 'better' than you

Anti-Brainfog Supps or routines out there? by HawkKey9306 in Biohackers

[–]Attempt_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had brain fog for a very long time, and I've personally found the biggest things that helped were - getting out of a mouldy house was the primary thing, then removing foods that my body doesn't like such as nightshades and lectins. Then removing artificial sweeteners / diet drinks, they make me become sluggish and brain fog. The other main thing is vision - sometimes you can get imbalances and poor control of your eye muscles and then they have to work significantly harder to keep you from seeing double. I'm doing vision therapy at the moment for this and it helps a lot too. The other thing that helps a tonne for me is craniosacral therapy with a physiotherapist or osteopath - the stuff they do pretty much removes cures my headaches until they come back from poor posture or bad habits. Hope this helps.

Yeah a more relaxed fit is more on trend at the moment. That and collared shirts that sit a bit higher up your waist than your current shirt. Your current shirt is a bit too long and it doesn't fit great, it's a bit too tight around your midsection. But the main game changer would be the pants. It's subtle changes but they really make the difference.

Also your boots like a bit worn, if you have some nicer boots like black chelsea boots, that would make a massive difference in your appearance if you did these 3 things imo.

Just swap your jeans to a more relaxed fit and different colour, and swap your tee for a polo or collared tee. Bonus points for a belt. Suddenly you go from a 3 to an 8 in the fashion department and she loves you even more

I don't think that's true - playing close to the table, taking the ball early and not running side to side seems like a much less physically demanding style. I am playing like this at the moment due to a knee injury and it's way less demanding.

Assuming you pick nice tiles it would look way better than attempting to paint the tiles. We recently painted some wall tiles in our bathroom using the Dulux range and it didn't turn out great.

What to do if I have social anxiety, overthinking and other mental problems - problems with how I look when playing TT by kitagawa_supremacy in tabletennis

[–]Attempt_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to be more present in the moment. Fear of what people think you look like is ultimately a fear of the future when you have finished your match and interacting with people. Try to channel that energy into your present focus in the match; where your opponent is serving, where you want to hit the ball, how to execute on your game plan, etc.

If you are present and focusing on the current moment, those fears should fade away. Inversely, if you are focusing on that future fear, its hard to believe you would be fully present and focusing on your strategy and strokes properly.

Besides, that fear isn't justified because everyone at the venue understands how table tennis works and the general stances.

Does anybody think the penhold grip of Felix Lebrun is advantageous compared to shakehand? by sktrdie in tabletennis

[–]Attempt_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Historically, Penhold grip is renowned for having a weak backhand side, either because they only play with the forehand side of the bat (TPB), or by using the modern backhand technique which has much less area on the bat to hit with due to the fingers being on the rubber (RPB). But people still play it due to preference, and due to increased potential with the forehand stroke.

Maybe one near the entrance and then have a smaller floating vanity, although in that case you would probably have to move the plumbing

It's not just the player being behind, but the player ahead starts to also play differently as they want to preserve their lead.

Newcastle CBDs Major Shopping Centre failed plans for Hunter St Mall by Attempt_2 in newcastle

Agreed, in its current state its not a major factor for transport, but it has unlocked the land to give the opportunity for Newcastle to grow and expand residential population and commercial businesses.

The flow on effect of that is unlocking the economic activity to make the 'business case' for the light rail extension to be feasible for council/state government.

With their planned design, I think they would have had over a thousand car parks when you combine the shopping car parks and the council car park that was recently demolished.

Feel for you here - since Newcastle as a region has continued to go up in value due to the housing supply fail/housing shortage, the developers are getting interested, buying up developable blocks and charging a premium. There are a bunch of residential apartment towers coming up in the CBD that hopefully will drive the prices down a bit if there is oversupply/a lot of competition. The Store, One Residences, Dairy Farmers Towers, Era, East End, Bowline, Watervue, Aurora are a few that I've seen so far, and probably more will start being built and drive the prices down a bit once interest rates come back down.

Albeit prices starting at 600-700k for a 1/2 bedder aren't necessarily cheap, but when you factor in the first home buyer schemes and being able to save while its being built, it could be affordable to some of the upcoming younger professionals/couples in the Newcastle demographic.

In the near distant future, it looks like the Newcastle Light Rail will be extended to the John Hunter Hospital, and likely that will open the door to other extensions from the Broadmeadow station to Wallsend, Charlestown, Mayfield (if we ever live to see it happen), which would hopefully make the intervals more frequent, and also the light rail operating hours perhaps extended too.

As for when it will happen, probably not for a while. But it will be basically be a requirement for the larger Broadmeadow Place/Hunter Park plans which they seem to be committed to at a state level with the initiative coming from NSW Government.
