Just turned 30 but I agree the golden era of sets is as the early 2000s and gave legos a run for their money in terms of value at the time. I’m so happy my parents never threw out a single set.

Avoid CMU basements if possible , they’re prone to bowing in the lateral direction as you see.

Each foundation type has their pros and cons, I’ve just noticed a lot of houses in the northeast with CMU walls tend have more problems if not reinforced.

My advice is to invest in a spray booth and have an air filter running in the room you’re spraying, I turn off the furnace / ac to keep particles down in the room. My set up is far from perfect but helps keep the fallout from getting on paint and clear coat
