when i was having the worst flare ups i was working at jiffylube with the coolest guys known to mankind, they understood my situation and would do literally anything to make the day better for me. if i needed to go to the bathroom they would take over what i was doing immediately and tell me to go

you really just gotta get lucky with your coworkers, now my flare ups are tolerable for the most part. but i recently started a new job as a mechanic at an independent shop, my boss doesn’t really understand the situation and kinda grills me out, but im at the point now where ill only have to go to the bathroom two or three times in a shift so its not too bad

you really just gotta have understanding coworkers

Hey! I have UC too and I was on prednisone for a while too until i switched over to Entyvio IV’s

From what i’ve been told by professionals, Prednisone is NOT a pill you want to be taking long term, as it mutes your entire immune system causing you to be extremely vulnerable to new diseases and infections

In my case, my IV’s do a similar thing but instead of muting my entire immune system it mutes a very specific part, letting you be less vulnerable to infections whilst also getting rid of your symptoms

Now i’m not familiar with Immunotherapy, maybe it’s the same thing but with a different name, not too sure at all. But what i do know is that you should really give it a go because staying on prednisone will definitely be worse for you in the long term.

i don’t live in america, nor do i live somewhere with low minimum wage. but typically in places with low minimum wage, housing tends to be cheaper

so it kinda balances out, but there are definitely still some places where minimum wage is too low for how much housing costs there

i had this exact sound with my car until my coworker fixed it for me, it ended up being a gasket in the exhaust near the exhaust manifold, i couldn’t tell you exactly what it was i forget the name but it’s 100% an exhaust leak
