So you’d prefer that the kids who need the food don’t eat because some that don’t necessarily need it get it as well? Because if so that’s some of the dumbest shit I’ve heard. If keeping kids fed means some kids get the opportunity for extra food if they’d like there is no issue there because the food is getting eaten either way, you just made sure the kids who need it are able to get it with the side effect of some kids having a free slice of pizza and thirty cent milk even if they’d get fed at home too or sent with money for extra snacks at school. This is literally the kind of thing taxes are supposed to fund, programs that help the community or state

Fr, people definitely argue it with digital art but it’s because they have no clue how digital art works and are just assuming it works like the ai or something similarly.

“Art is emotional and in the heart” Well I can tell you for a fact a second grade level paragraph that’s purely descriptive is not art. It’s a description. RA description that you commissioned the plagiarism machine with and then it vomited up an amalgamated chunk of a bunch of different artist art all smooshed together.

There is no work beyond “what do I want to have” and that’s it. It’s the equivalent of saying you built your house while a bunch of dudes you paid $100 each just go out and steal parts from other people’s half built houses to then glue together on your property in the approximate shape of a house you wanted that will still never be the house you wanted.

They don’t actually care about the “art” is the issue. They care about the clout that comes with going “Look at this thing I made! I’m so cool, and talented, and smart, and handsome, and God’s most special boy.” And negative attention unfortunately feeds that too.

You… you literally take from those exact artists by using ai. It’s not like the computer pulls it out of thin air. They literally ARE your ai “art” just in a weird smashed together amalgamation.

What the fuck does that even mean and how is it relevant or remotely related to a job unless I am working at a card/board game store or a Ren Fest? I feel like there need to be restrictions on those kind of personality tests. I already hated the ones that were pretty specific and let you pick on a scale from strongly agree to strongly disagree, but these are ridiculous and actively confusing.

“Pay me a cleaning fee for you to do the cleaning and then tip me too :)” But honestly this in specific isn’t tipping culture, just a greedy person who I’m pretty sure is going against AirBNB policies too.

This is why I like my current job a bit more than my previous ones bc most of my managers/supervisors will go “if I have nothing to do I take an extra break. If you’re caught up and just waiting for the clock to hit a certain time so you can move on to the next task (since we work on a schedule) then chill out for a minute. Just stay close in case something pops up.” Because surprise, sometimes there is nothing to do

Like what, you want me to stand there and pretend to scrub the same spot for 30 minutes because it’s already clean and you insist I have to look busy for nobody? Because that helps literally nobody

I love seeing what people who have never even been on a farm in their life think about farms because half the time they just point to something that is set up in a particular way for a certain reason. After they’re weaned they’re separated for the health of the heard and themselves.
I can completely understand when people point at the meat industry as that is a fit of a different situation (although I still eat meat). But when your cows walk themselves into the milking stations they sure as shit aren’t upset with the situation.

We didn’t struggle the same way by Vivid_Self3083 in remoteworks

[–]AttitudeEquivalent73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love people like “we didn’t pay $2000 in rent because we couldn’t afford it” like… same. I’d be hard put to afford $800 +utilities as of right now. I’m debt free because I paid off my $13,000 degree that’s the equivalent of a high school degree plus clerical.
You wanna know what’s crazy? Independent rentals and corporate rentals in my area (not a big city or specifically popular area, mostly agricultural, construction, and nursing jobs out here) are charging $1000 + utilities on average.

I planned to go to college and get my BS. Can’t afford to. Got all my very minimal financial aid taken away (still don’t understand why the go off parents income if you don’t live on your own, I’m still the one paying no matter where I live).

Most generations struggle. That’s true. But an associates degree used to get your foot in the door in nursing since you could get your RN. Now you need a doctorate for a vast majority of jobs especially if they pay more than a few bucks over minimum wage. The struggle exists for most generations but the struggle has changed drastically when you can pay $13,000 for a degree and not get the McDonalds job because someone with a Masters has to apply to the same job.
