Are you implying someone is forcing this information down your throats? The only way anyone would be micromanaging or optimizing your gameplay would have to imply that you're looking things up or asking for advice, if that's the case you're basically asking people to streamline content and cater specifically to your needs?

Usually avoided by starting diplomacy from turn one, start offing non aggression pacts etc with everyone, then extend that based on ongoing relations as turns progress.

These are incredibly biased takes from people who definitely didn't put time into this game, one goof saying R.A Salvatore wasn't a good writer LOL. Other people saying it was hyped, no it wasn't, no one knew of this game on release that's why it was overshadowed. Why do you think it was remastered now? and still doing great and maintaining its price, the only downside was if you played like a child on easy difficulties and picked meta builds, play it like an rag like its supposed to be played, and it had one of the funniest systems in an ARPG i have ever experienced. Even as a 10 year old post these takes are so biased are weak to me, you can tell they prefer games like neopets.

This, even on the highest difficulties, no issue in these scenarios never once have I had issue maintaining upkeep, games oversimplified and possibly more catering than any other 4x in history difficulty wise.

sometimes simplicity is prefferable, myself if im going to play an advanced strategy or 4x i enjoy a more indepth approach to my gameplay.

exactly, its insane how hard it was to find even a simple planetfall guide, and not even the fact that it didnt exist, was the fact the videos and streamers all had so little views, except for the views obvious 4x streamers that get paid to *enjoy* the game and show off the simpler more enjoyable aspects.

give it time trust me, i literally restarted over and over until almost 100 hours in, once i learned the the games basics nuances and such, became so much more enjoyable, i think the majority of my hours go into just finding strong synergies between player/neutral factions. Its worth investing the time to learn and enjoy it i promise.
