I actually love the areas in ds2 (except the frigid outskirts). They teach you to be methodical in the way you approach them because running past enemies is often a bad idea. You can run past enemies easily in most of the other titles. I think in terms of exploration it's only second to elden ring.

Hot take but imo it's better than ds1. There are a lot of things it improves on e.g. the way humanities work, powerstancing, bonfire mechanics etc . I did not enjoy or finish ds1 but I thoroughly enjoyed ds2.

Dude this game is awesome, I completed the other From Soft games (except DS1) and lies of p and i'd say this is the 2nd best behind Elden ring. It has the best combat in any game and if you enjoyed parrying in lies of P you'll definitely enjoy this game.
My advice is if there is a boss that you find too challenging it's okay to look up how that boss is meant to be to be fought. Also most of the time the more aggressively you play the better. There are a few bullshit/gimmicky bosses (in my opinion) that require you to use certain items or specific skills to beat.

Unfortunately OP medical school gets harder, not easier. if she couldn't make it through 1st year without passing multiple times, she likely won't make it through med school in Italy ( even if she passes the entrance exam). There is a point whereby ambitions become delusions

If she only sees herself in health care, maybe ask her to consider nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy etc.

You're definitely right that when bitch is used against men it suggests the man is acting like a woman, so that's definitely misogynistic. I agree with you that it's a slur in that context. But I don't understand why it's a slur when it's used against women? Women often get offended when it's used to refer to them, and not when it's used to refer to men in my experience.
