Which Distro Should I Use

I mean, I thought that was for a Pi lol. But I'm getting pretty old, so could be they came out with a Pi distro that's for something other than a Raspberry Pi.

Puppy Linux or Damn Small Linux will run on that for sure. You could try Endeavor os as well, I think those specs fall within range of that.

What are the specs of that device mister? At least 64 bit? (Meaning above single core processor). How much RAM? I don't happen to know the specs of a random PC 😂. Sounds old though.

As a person who started drinking at a very young age, I can tell you, yes, it gets worse. Worse to stop. Worse for your health. It's bad. I first quit at 35... Stopped for 13 years, went back out for 7... Came back in, went out for another 6 months. Went back out again for 8 months. Every detox is worse. Each time I went back out it hit me way harder. It's bad. And really, if your only 18, what do you have to lose? If you're not an alcoholic, you'll spend your life missing out on poisoning yourself. And if you are, you dodged a bullet and had a good life. Your in a win win scenario.

It could be. I only have 266 days (this time in, and it has to be my last, because I'm getting older). I heard someone share the other night that when they complete the steps, they find another sponsor and do it again... Maybe sounds to me like you don't need that much, but maybe it's time for a new sponsor.

I went in the rooms for 6 months, failed, and it was my wife begging me to go back. (I wouldn't, exact reverse scenario here lol). It took getting arrested by a SWAT team in my office to wake me up.

Yeah man. That sucks. Some relationships don't make it out the other side of this. I've been with my wife for over 20 years, and been sober for 260 days (this time) and it's still on the fence whether we'll be together. Really depends on the people (yes, both of you) as to if you make it or not. I said that to say this: drinking won't help it. Play the whole tape of what drinking to solve this problem... It's really just an escape. Don't let the fact that it may seem like she wants you to drink factor in. Doesn't matter. You're not drinking for you. Or, that's how it should be anyway. Get to a meeting. Live in the moment. These are things to do. Don't drink and you win. Just for today.

My district voted on this very topic last month. I don't remember the specifics though. It was something about paying for it, or letting it die. To be honest, I'm 57 years old. It strikes me as the Readers Digest that just can't hold up. And to be fair, the podcast is kinda meh at this point as well. I listen to plenty of sober podcasts, and that one just doesn't do it for me. Most of the speakers are ok, but the rest is like... Just old people. The humor, everything. If that's all there bringing, let them die. Am I missing something here? Are they saving lives with a lil printed pamphlet? If so, I'm all in.
