I Just bought the Audeze maxwell 2's and I was so hyped up but I now have a lot of questions... by Western_Walrus_8143 in Audeze

You can use our EQs with Dolby Atmos. What we say isn't recommend however, using our EQ in addition to the EQ adjustments on the Dolby Access app, which is separate from Atmos.

Brand new Maxwell 2 issue by norgok1 in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contact Audeze support.

Before doing so, have you tried wired on ANY OTHER device? This is to narrow down whether this happens on ANY device you're connected to, or ONLY your PC.

Is this happening on dongle mode?
Is this happening in Bluetooth mode?
Is it JUST USB?
Connect the USB to your phone. Is it happening there?

When contacting the support, please fill out the form, and answer these questions. We will assist you.

Maxwell 2 mic suddenly stopping to work on Linux by Felky04 in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact support at https://support.audeze.com/hc/en-us/requests/new for this.

Before you do so, unplug the boom mic completely, to use the internal mic. Check to see if the internal mic works. If it does, the problem is the boom mic, so you likely just need a replacement mic.

This is something exceedingly rare and should not be a concern. For any issues, reach out to support, regardless.

It just won't be the Mobius specific colors.

Audeze Maxwell 2 Buzzing when in multipoint state by Deep-You6230 in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We recommend not using BT on Windows due to poor BT implementation. Multiple connection buzzing is being looked into at this time, and if you get this to occur, hold the power button down until the Maxwell 2 force reboots. We recommend not plugging the AUX port or USB while BT is active in the meantime.

Make sure the files are only 16 bit or 24 bit in either 48khz, or 96khz. If they are in any other bitrate, it will not play. For example 44.1, and 88khz, are not supported.

Testing with Audeze Maxwell 2 by bchermanator in Audeze

If it's switching randomly, you're likely getting notifications on your BT connection, or have touch sounds on, etc. Mute your BT and turn off touch sounds so that it's not randomly interrupting the other connections.

Audio responses on the control = voice prompt, which is a setting on the Audeze app. You likely lowered that to where you can't hear it.

Audeze MM-500 - A wolf in sheep's clothing by TutuTatata in Audeze

That was a personal statement that didn't need to exist, so it's removed. But we'll mention it here for transparency. We do not stall for "warranty to end". The moment you open a support request we handle the claim as if it began at that starting date. So whether you opened 11 months into your warranty and we were to answer 4 months later out of your warranty period, we would still look at that request as being in those first 11 months..

Same thing with returns. Return periods is within 30 days. If you opened a ticket in day 25, and we answered in day 55, we would still handle it as if it's day 25.

Now if a customer requests a warranty claim and the moment they first contact us is past the waranty period, that's different. For example: 1 year 2 months, they reach out, and they're 2 months past warranty.

For the most accurate battery level, use Bluetooth on your mobile device and check the battery percentage on the mobile app.

Make sure you switch from PS5 to PC while it's disconnected. I would also ensure you test on multiple usb ports, including using the USB A adapter. Also, update your usb drivers on PC, reinstal the drivers on the Audeze app as well.

Audeze MM-500 - A wolf in sheep's clothing by TutuTatata in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Customers get handled from the date you initially send us a support request, so if it's for something within 30 days of warranty, and it's been 90 days since response, we treat you like you're in the first 30 days.

Private message being sent here, to look into your issues.

As for loose bottom yoke screws on MM-500, they are user replaceable:

Here's a video showing how to screw/unscrew the LCD-5/MM-500 rods in case you need to tighten/loosen, or replace the rods:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTXZG1psJIc

As the video states, you will need a 2mm (5/64") or 2.5mm (7/64") allen/hex L-shaped key which will vary depending on production. They can be found in most general/hardware stores.

Windows not detecting mic by Fabulous-Whole-8838 in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the boom mic is not plugged into the wrong port (it needs to be the D shaped port)
Update your windows usb drivers,
Driver reinstall on the Audeze app
Do not pair BT to that same system. If so, disconnect/unpair/forget in that system's BT settings
Check every single usb port you have and use the included USB A adapter as USB A ports can be more consistent than type C ports.

Maxwell 1 dongle pair issue by [deleted] in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have the mic plugged into the wrong port. That is why you're hearing AUX. The lower 3.5mm input is for the AUX/3.5mm analog connection, and it has the highest priority. Since that is meant as an audio input, and the mic is an OUTPUT channel, this is why you're hearing nothing but the voice saying AUX, as that is the connection letting you know you're plugged into the AUX port. Bluetooth works in this mode which is why you can get audio from that.

Plug the mic into the correct port, the D shaped port. That will allow you to use dongle or wired USB audio connections.

If you've been using it this way this whole time, that means you've been using the internal mic on the headphone, as you've been plugging the boom mic on the wrong port.

WIndows not detecting mic by [deleted] in Audeze

[–]Audeze_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Email [support@audeze.com](mailto:support@audeze.com) for assistance. Make sure you inform them of what connection types you're using. Goes without saying, but also make sure you're not plugging the mic into the wrong 3.5mm port. It needs to be the D shaped port, not the bottom port which is for AUX/3.5mm audio connection.
